Deployment of Acting Captains. Only those on the Acting Captain’s List shall be used as Acting Captains. Personnel on the Acting Captain List shall be assigned to platoons based on their overall ranking on the Captain List with the highest four (4) Acting Captains assigned to different platoons and each successive group of four (4) Acting Captains assigned to different platoons. When possible, an Acting Captain will be assigned to each crew, with the understanding that 71, 72, 73, and 75 must have an Acting Captain assigned to those stations. Acting Captains shall be entitled to participate in the LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING - 10 SENIORITY BID SYSTEM (Work Location) but their Annual Transfer Window bids shall be restricted to their assigned platoon. Except as noted elsewhere in this letter of understanding, the Acting Captain assigned to each station shall be the first to be assigned roles as Acting Captain when vacancies occur. If the Acting Captain assigned to a particular station is already assigned to an Acting Captain role, is not available due to absence (training, vacation, illness etc.) and another Acting Captain vacancy occurs within the station, the next highest ranking Acting Captain available within the Platoon will be assigned to fill the vacancy. However, the Fire Chief may make adjustments to this deployment when there is an extraordinary long-term absence of a Captain. Such adjustments shall be made with consideration of the Acting Captains’ ranking on the Captain List.

Deployment of Acting Captains. The Acting Captain on each platoon who ranks highest on the Acting Captain List shall be assigned to Station 7-2. The second highest ranked Acting Captain on each platoon shall be assigned to Station 7-3. The third highest ranked Acting Captain on each platoon shall be assigned to Station 7-1. For the purpose of deploying Acting Officers the city shall be divided into two districts. The East District shall be Stations 71, 72, 76, and 78. The West District shall be Stations 73, 75, 77 and 79. Except as noted elsewhere in this letter of understanding, the Acting Captain at Station 7-2 shall be the first to be assigned roles as Acting Captain when vacancies occur in the East District (Stations 7-1, 7-2, 7-6 & 7-8) except for Station 7-1. The Acting Captain at Station 7-3 will be the first to be assigned Acting Captain roles on the platoon when vacancies occur in the West District (Stations 7-3, 7-5, 7-7 & 7-9). The Acting Captain at Station 7-1 will be the first to be assigned Acting Captain roles when vacancies occur in Station 7-1. If the Acting Captain assigned to a particular District is already assigned to an Acting Captain role, and another vacancy occurs within the District, the next highest ranking Acting Captain available within the District will be assigned to fill the vacancy.   • Grievance on Layoffs and Recalls Grievances concerning layoffs and recalls shall be initiated at Step 2 of the grievance procedure.

  • Compliance with Contractor Employee Jury Service Ordinance Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance with respect to provision of jury duty pay to employees and have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service in San Mateo County. The policy may provide that employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the employees’ regular pay the fees received for jury service.

  • Client Money Handling Rules 16.1. The Company will promptly place any Client money it receives into one or more segregated account(s) with reliable financial institutions (i.e. an affiliate, a bank, a market, a settlement agent, a clearing house or OTC counterparty) and the Client funds will be segregated from the Company’s own money and cannot be used in the course of its business.
