Designation by Employer. The Employer will designate the number of employees in each rank to be laid-off by notice to the Union (the "Designation Notice") and by posting at each fire station, which notice shall specify an effective date for the personnel reduction (the "Effective Date"), which shall not be earlier than ninety (90) days from the date of the Designation Notice.
