Disability Insurance Provided. The City agrees to provide the State Short-Term Disability Insurance program for employees as defined in Section 1.3. The costs of this program are the responsibility of the employee, paid through payroll deductions.

The City participates in CASDI for short term disabilities and shall provide a Long Term Disability (LTD) benefit as described in 21.2 for employees as defined in Section 1.3.
