Disposition of Employment Insurance Rebate. The Employer shall register its Sick Leave Plan with Human Resources Development Canada for premium reduction purposes. The Union shall be notified of the premium reduction, which shall be disposed of in a manner mutually agreeable to the parties. If there is no agreement of the disposition of the premium rebate, the matter shall be submitted to arbitration in accordance with the terms of this Agreement and the relevant regulations of Human Resources Development Canada.

Disposition of Employment Insurance Rebate. The Employer shall endeavour to register its Sick Leave Plan with Human Resources Development Canada for premium reduction purposes. The Parties agree that in the event the Employer is successful in registering the Sick Leave Plan with Human Resource Development Canada, then the Employer shall retain the employee portion of the rebate to be utilized for improvements to the Extended Health Benefit Plan.

  • Employment Insurance Rebate The short-term sick leave plan shall be registered with the Employment Insurance Commission (EIC). The nurses' share of the employer's Employment Insurance premium reduction will be retained by the Hospital towards offsetting the cost of the benefit improvements contained in this agreement.

The teacher shall be responsible for paying the monthly premium amounts in advance and on such dates as determined by the District/third party administrator. The right to continue participation in such group insurance programs will discontinue upon the failure of the teacher to pay the premiums to the District/third party administrator, or the expiration of insurance availability under the insurance policy provisions. Since long-term disability insurance coverage replaces salary, and a retiree receives no salary, long-term disability insurance coverage is not available.

  • Termination of Employment Executive's employment hereunder may be terminated under the following circumstances:
