DUES AND ASSESSMENT DEDUCTIONS. A. Any member or prospective member of the Association may complete and appropriately sign a dues deduction card which denotes the teacher's choice of two standard deductions and a third when available. Upon completion of the card and submission to the Board's designee, the individual will have his/her dues deducted and transmitted to the Association in equal payments. Deductions shall be remitted to the Association within ten (10) days of the deduction. Such authorization shall remain in effect until revoked in writing by the employee, who shall give thirty (30) days prior notice to the Board and the Association. Copies of any request to discontinue deductions shall be transmitted to the Association no later than concurrent with the payroll deduction check and roster for the pay date in which the request becomes effective. In regard to dues deduction, the Board shall be held harmless in all cases of tort and civil liability brought by an Association member when such action is taken in reliance upon information supplied by the Association.

DUES AND ASSESSMENT DEDUCTIONS. Members and potential members of the Union shall be entitled to payroll deduction of Union dues and assessments. Employees shall complete a dues deduction form and deliver said form to the Union for processing. Duly authorized payroll deduction shall remain in force until revoked in writing by the employee who shall give thirty (30) days of prior notice to the Board and the Union. Absence on an unpaid leave, including a general leave of absence, shall not constitute revocation of authorized payroll deduction for union dues and assessments. Union dues shall be collected in twenty (20) equal deductions in an amount specified annually by the Union. Deductions shall be remitted to the Union no later than the second work day after the deduction is made. In regard to dues deduction, the Board shall be held harmless in all cases of tort and civil liability brought by a Union member when such action is taken or not taken as a reliance upon the names of employees whose dues have been deducted. The Board is expressly prohibited in the collection of any fines, penalties or special assessments (except Political Action Committee) (F.S.447.303).

  • Property Taxes Landlord shall pay, prior to delinquency, all general real estate taxes and installments of special assessments coming due during the Lease term on the Leased Premises, and all personal property taxes with respect to Landlord's personal property, if any, on the Leased Premises. Tenant shall be responsible for paying all personal property taxes with respect to Tenant's personal property at the Leased Premises.

  • Delinquent Reports The Contractor shall submit required reports by the designated due dates as identified in this Contract. After notice to the Contractor and an opportunity for a meeting with an Agency representative, the Agency reserves the right to withhold payments for services performed under this Contract if the Agency has not received acceptable progress reports, expenditure reports, refunds, and/or audits as required by this Contract or previous contracts for similar or equivalent services the Contractor has entered into with the Agency. This section shall survive any Termination of the Contract or the Expiration of its term.
