Dues Checkoff. SECTION A - UNION DUES DEDUCTION 1. The Company will deduct from the employees’ wages and turn over to the Union the Union membership dues of each employee who individually and voluntarily authorizes the Company in writing to make such deductions. The term “Union Membership Dues”, as used herein, shall include Union initiation or reinstatement fees of employees rehired by the Company with or without seniority when such employees are reinstated or rejoin the Union. Such deductions shall be made in accordance with the following provisions: a) Such deductions shall be made only in accordance with instructions upon authorization cards, which shall be in a form mutually agreed to, between the Company and the Union. In order to be effective, such authorization cards shall be delivered by the Union to the Accounting Department of the Company. Such authorizations shall be irrevocable for one year from the date thereof or until the termination date of this Agreement, whichever occurs first. b) It is agreed between the Company and the Union that any employee of the Company who is or may hereafter become a member of the Union may authorize the collection of Union dues by the signing of a Voluntary Check-Off Authorization Card as follows: (1) “I hereby authorize Swissport Fueling of Nevada, Inc. to deduct from my wages such sum per month as may be due hereafter on account of initiation and reinstatement fees and monthly membership dues in the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. The sums thus deducted are hereby assigned by me to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and are to be remitted by the Company and to the appropriate financial secretary of the Union.” (2) “This assignment shall be irrevocable for one year from this date or until the termination of the Agreement between the Company and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers now in effect, whichever occurs first. It shall be deemed automatically renewed for like periods during the term of such Agreement and each succeeding applicable Agreement unless I give notice by certified mail to the Company and the Union not more than twenty days and not less than ten days prior to the expiration of each automatically renewed period.” SIGNATURE DATE Deductions for that portion of the Union membership dues consisting of Union initiation fees or reinstatement fees, as provided above, shall be made from the employee’s paycheck for the first period ending in each month in the amount and from the number of such checks as authorized by the employee on the authorization card. 2. Deductions for other Union membership dues shall be made from the employee’s paycheck for the first pay period ending in each month in the amount authorized by the employee on the authorization card. In the event a deduction for such dues is not made on one or more consecutive regular payroll deduction dates due to the lack of earnings or insufficient earnings by the employee, then on the next regular payroll deduction date that the employee has sufficient earnings, one double deduction shall be made. 3. Such payroll deductions shall begin within two weeks subsequent to receipt by the Accounting Department of the Company of the authorization cards provided for in Paragraph (a) above. 4. The Company’s obligation to make such deductions shall terminate in the event the employee shall cease to be an employee as defined in Article I, of this Agreement or upon receipt by the Company of written revocation by the employee of such authorization card in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1(b) 2 of this Section A.

Such authorizations shall be irrevocable for one year from the date thereof or until the termination date of this Agreement, whichever occurs first.
b) It is agreed between the Company and the Union that any employee of the Company who is or may hereafter become a member of the Union may authorize the collection of Union dues by the signing of a Voluntary Check-Off Authorization Card as follows:
(1) “I hereby authorize Swissport Fueling of Nevada, Inc. to deduct from my wages such sum per month as may be due hereafter on account of initiation and reinstatement fees and monthly membership Association dues in the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. The sums thus deducted are hereby assigned by me to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and are to be remitted by the Company and to the appropriate financial secretary of the Union.”
(2) “This assignment shall be irrevocable for one year from this date or until the termination of the Agreement between the Company and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers now in effect, whichever occurs first. It shall be deemed automatically renewed for like periods during the term of such Agreement and each succeeding applicable Agreement unless I give notice by certified mail to the Company and the Union not more than twenty days and not less than ten days prior to the expiration of each automatically renewed period.” SIGNATURE DATE Deductions for that portion of the Union membership dues consisting of Union initiation fees or reinstatement fees, as provided above, shall be made coequal installments from the employee’s paycheck pay and remit such deduction by the first day of the succeeding month to the Treasurer of the Association.
c. If the employee’s individually authorized deduction form is received after the fifth day of the month but before the fifteenth day of such month, then the entire amount of the monthly dues shall be deducted from the last pay of such month.
d. If an employee’s individually authorized deduction form is received on or after the fifteenth of a given month, then no deduction shall be made during that month.
e. If an employee has no earnings during a given pay period, the Association shall be responsible for collecting that employee’s dues for the first period ending pay period(s) in question.
f. The Association will notify the College’s Vice President of Administrative Services, or designee, of the exact amount of the monthly membership dues to be deducted by August 1 of each month in academic year. Any change to the amount and from the number of such checks as authorized by the employee on the authorization card.
2. Deductions for other Union monthly membership dues shall be made from promptly communicated to the employee’s paycheck for Colleges’ Vice President of Administrative services, or designee, by the first pay period ending in each month in Association. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, changes to the amount authorized after August 1 of each year shall be limited to one.
g. The Association agrees to indemnify and hold the Board harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits, orders, or judgments or other forms of liability (monetary or otherwise) brought or issued against the Board and for all legal costs that may arise out of or by reason of any action taken or not taken by the employee on the authorization card. In the event a deduction for such dues is not made on one or more consecutive regular payroll deduction dates due to the lack of earnings or insufficient earnings by the employee, then on the next regular payroll deduction date that the employee has sufficient earnings, one double deduction shall be made.
3. Such payroll deductions shall begin within two weeks subsequent to receipt by the Accounting Department of the Company of the authorization cards provided for in Paragraph (a) above.
4. The Company’s obligation to make such deductions shall terminate in the event the employee shall cease to be an employee as defined in Article I, of this Agreement or upon receipt by the Company of written revocation by the employee of such authorization card in accordance with Board under the provisions of paragraph 1(b) 2 of this Section A.section. If an improper deduction is made and remitted to the Association, the Association shall promptly refund any excess amount directly to the employee involved.

B) Dues shall be deducted on each payday. Within ten (10) days after execution of this agreement, and at the time it remits dues, the Employer further agrees to furnish WGAE a roster of all Employees’ names, job title, weekly rate of pay, date of employment and fees/dues deducted, or if no deduction was made, the reason for not making a deduction, gender (if self- identified by Employee to HR), race (if self-identified by Employee to HR), date of birth (if provided by Employee to HR); home address (if provided by Employee to HR), personal email (if provided by Employee to HR), and personal cell phone (if provided by Employee to HR). Any list required hereunder that portion contains personal information such as social security numbers shall be transmitted to the Union in a secured electronic form in the format agreed to between the Employer and the Union. The Employer shall provide to the Union the name, title, e-mail address, and telephone number of the Union membership dues consisting of Union contact information for those responsible for each dues/initiation fees remittance list to be submitted pursuant to this Article who can directly authorize and produce such electronic transmission.
C) The Employer shall not be required to attempt to recover unpaid dues or reinstatement feesinitiation fees from Employees for any reason, as provided aboveincluding, but not limited to, those who have terminated employment and received their last wages prior to the receipt of the request or due to Employer error.
D) Employees who do not sign written authorizations for deductions must adhere to the same payment procedure by making payments directly to the Union.
E) The Employer shall be made relieved from the employee’s paycheck for the first period ending in each month in the amount and from the number of making such checks as authorized by the employee on the authorization card.

Deductions for other Union membership dues shall be made from the employee’s paycheck for the first pay period ending in each month in the amount authorized by the employee on the authorization card. G) Once funds are remitted to the employee Union, their disposition thereafter shall cease to be an employee as defined in Article Ithe sole and exclusive obligation and responsibility of the Union. It is specifically agreed that the Employer assumes no obligation, financial or otherwise, arising out of this Agreement or upon receipt by the Company of written revocation by the employee of such authorization card in accordance compliance with the provisions of paragraph 1(bthis Article, and the Union hereby agrees that it will indemnify and hold the Employer harmless from any claims, actions or proceedings by any Employee arising from deductions made by the Employer hereunder. The Union shall indemnify, defend, and save the Employer harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits, or terms of liability that shall arise out of and by reason of an action taken by the Employer in reliance upon any payroll deduction card(s) 2 of this Section A.submitted to the Employer.

The Union shall indemnify, defend, and save the Employer harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits, or terms of liability that shall arise out of and by reason of an action taken by the Employer in reliance upon any payroll deduction card(s) 2 of this Section A.submitted to the Employer.

Dues Checkoff. SECTION A - UNION DUES DEDUCTION(a) The current or future employment of bargaining unit employees is not contingent upon membership in the Union or the payment of union dues or fees.

(d) Each employee who individually and voluntarily authorizes the Company in writing to make such deductions. The term “Union Membership Dues”, as used herein, shall include Union initiation or reinstatement fees of employees rehired by the Company with or without seniority when such employees are reinstated or rejoin the Union. Such deductions shall be made in accordance with the following provisions:
a) Such deductions shall be made only in accordance with instructions upon authorization cards, which shall be in a form mutually agreed to, between the Company and the Union. In order to be effective, such authorization cards shall be delivered by the Union to the Accounting Department of the Company. Such authorizations shall be irrevocable for one year from the date thereof or until the termination date of this Agreement, whichever occurs first.

(1) “I hereby authorize Swissport Fueling of Nevadaafter June 27, Inc. to deduct from my wages such sum per month as may be due hereafter on account of initiation and reinstatement fees and monthly membership dues in the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. The sums thus deducted are hereby assigned by me to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and are to be remitted by the Company and to the appropriate financial secretary of 2018, must sign the Union.”
(2) “This ’s Application for Union Membership and Authorized Dues Deduction Card, and shall do so with the understanding that the dues authorization and assignment shall be irrevocable for one year from this date or until the termination of the Agreement between the Company and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers now in effect, whichever occurs first. It shall be deemed automatically renewed for like periods during the term of such Agreement the applicable contract between the Union and each succeeding the Employer or for one year, whichever is the lesser, and shall automatically renew itself for successive yearly or applicable Agreement contract periods thereafter, whichever is the lesser, unless I give the employee gives written notice by certified mail to the Company Employer and the Union at least sixty (60) days, but not more than twenty ninety (90) days before any periodic renewal date of this authorization and assignment of the employee’s desire to revoke same. Such authorization and assignment is voluntary and not less than ten days conditioned upon present or future membership in the Union.
(e) The employer shall not make any Union payroll deductions from any employee without written authorization from the employee. In the case of an employee who becomes a member after June 27, 2018, written authorization must be in the form of a signed and completed Application for Union Membership and Authorized Dues Deduction Card, as well as any additional written authorization as the Employer may require. In the event of the terms of the Employer’s written authorization conflicts with the terms of the Union’s Card, the terms of the Card shall be controlling. For an employee who became a member prior to June 27, 2018, the expiration of each automatically renewed periodemployer must have from the employee written authorization showing the employee’s clear intent to participate in Union payroll deductions.” SIGNATURE DATE
(f) Employees may resign their Union membership at any time by notifying the Union but may still be responsible for payroll deductions as set forth in Subsection 4.
(g) Deductions for that portion of the Union membership dues consisting of Union initiation fees or reinstatement fees, as provided above, any other calendar month shall be made remitted to the Union. In the event that a refund is due to any employee for any sums deducted from wages and paid to the Union, it shall be the responsibility of such employee to obtain the appropriate refund from the Union.
(h) The Employer shall not be liable for the remittance or payment of any sums other than those constituting actual deductions made. If the Employer fails to make a deduction for any employee as provided, it shall make that deduction from the employee’s paycheck for next pay period in which such deduction is normal deducted after the first period ending in each month in the amount and from the number of such checks as authorized error has been called to its attention by the employee on or the authorization cardUnion.
2. Deductions for other (i) If there is an increase or decrease in Union membership dues payroll deductions, as determined and established by the Union, such changes shall be made become effective upon the second pay period following notice from the employee’s paycheck for the first pay period ending in each month in the amount authorized by the employee on the authorization card. 1. B) Dues shall be deducted on each payday. Within ten (10) days after execution of this agreement, and at the time it remits dues, the Employer further agrees to furnish WGAE a roster of all Employees’ names, job title, weekly rate of pay, date of employment and fees/dues deducted, or if no deduction was made, the reason for not making a deduction, gender (if self- identified by Employee to HR), race (if self-identified by Employee to HR), date of birth (if provided by Employee to HR); home address (if provided by Employee to HR), personal email (if provided by Employee to HR), and personal cell phone (if provided by Employee to HR). Any list required hereunder that portion contains personal information such as social security numbers shall be transmitted to the Union in a secured electronic form in the format agreed to between the Employer and the Union. The Employer shall provide to the Union the name, title, e-mail address, and telephone number of the Union membership dues consisting of Union contact information for those responsible for each dues/initiation fees remittance list to be submitted pursuant to this Article who can directly authorize and produce such electronic transmission.
C) The Employer shall not be required to attempt to recover unpaid dues or reinstatement feesinitiation fees from Employees for any reason, as provided aboveincluding, but not limited to, those who have terminated employment and received their last wages prior to the receipt of the request or due to Employer error.
D) Employees who do not sign written authorizations for deductions must adhere to the same payment procedure by making payments directly to the Union.
E) The Employer shall be made relieved from the employee’s paycheck for the first period ending in each month in the amount and from the number of making such checks as authorized by the employee on the authorization card.
2. Deductions for other Union membership dues shall be made from the employee’s paycheck for the first pay period ending in each month in the amount authorized by the employee on the authorization card. In the event a deduction for such dues is not made on one or more consecutive regular payroll deduction dates due to the lack of earnings or insufficient earnings by the employee, then on the next regular payroll deduction date that the employee has sufficient earnings, one double deduction shall be made.
3. Such payroll “check-off” deductions shall begin within two weeks subsequent to receipt by the Accounting Department of the Company of the authorization cards provided for in Paragraph upon (a) above.
4termination of employment, or (b) transfer to a job other than one covered by the bargaining unit, or (c) lay-off from work, or (d) an agreed leave of absence, or (e) revocation of the check- off authorization in accordance with its terms or with applicable law. G) Once funds are remitted to the employee Union, their disposition thereafter shall cease to be an employee as defined in Article Ithe sole and exclusive obligation and responsibility of the Union. It is specifically agreed that the Employer assumes no obligation, financial or otherwise, arising out of this Agreement or upon receipt by the Company of written revocation by the employee of such authorization card in accordance compliance with the provisions of paragraph 1(bthis Article, and the Union hereby agrees that it will indemnify and hold the Employer harmless from any claims, actions or proceedings by any Employee arising from deductions made by the Employer hereunder. The Union shall indemnify, defend, and save the Employer harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits, or terms of liability that shall arise out of and by reason of an action taken by the Employer in reliance upon any payroll deduction card(s) 2 of this Section A.submitted to the Employer.

Dues Checkoff. SECTION A - UNION DUES DEDUCTION(a) The current or future employment of bargaining unit employees is not contingent upon membership in the Union or the payment of union dues or fees.
1. (b) The Company will deduct Employer agrees to make Union payroll deductions twice each month from the pay of the employees who have authorized that such deductions be made as set forth in Subsections 4 and 5.

The sums thus deducted are hereby assigned by me to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and are to be remitted by the Company and to the appropriate financial secretary of 2018, must sign the Union.”
(2) “This ’s Application for Union Membership and Authorized Dues Deduction Card, and shall do so with the understanding that the dues authorization and assignment shall be irrevocable for one year from this date or until the termination of the Agreement between the Company and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers now in effect, whichever occurs first. It shall be deemed automatically renewed for like periods during the term of such Agreement the applicable contract between the Union and each succeeding the Employer or for one year, whichever is the lesser, and shall automatically renew itself for successive yearly or applicable Agreement contract periods thereafter, whichever is the lesser, unless I give the employee gives written notice by certified mail to the Company Employer and the Union at least sixty (60) days, but not more than twenty ninety (90) days before any periodic renewal date of this authorization and assignment of the employee’s desire to revoke same. Such authorization and assignment is voluntary and not less than ten days conditioned upon present or future membership in the Union.
(e) The Employer shall not make any Union payroll deductions from any employee without written authorization from the employee. In the case of an employee who becomes a member after June 27, 2018, written authorization must be in the form of a signed and completed Application for Union Membership and Authorized Dues Deduction Card, as well as any additional written authorization as the Employer may require. In the event the terms of the Employer’s written authorization conflicts with the terms of the Union’s Card, the terms of the Card shall be controlling. For an employee who became a member prior to June 27, 2018, the expiration of each automatically renewed periodemployer must have from the employee written authorization showing the employee’s clear intent to participate in Union payroll deductions.” SIGNATURE DATE
(f) Employees may resign their Union membership at any time by notifying the Union, but may still be responsible for payroll deductions as set forth in Subsection 4.
(g) Deductions for that portion of the Union membership dues consisting of Union initiation fees or reinstatement fees, as provided above, any calendar month shall be made remitted to the Union. In the event that a refund is due to any employee for any sums deducted from wages and paid to the Union, it shall be the responsibility of such employee to obtain the appropriate refund from the Union.
(h) The Employer shall not be liable for the remittance or payment of any sums other than those constituting actual deductions made. If the Employer fails to make a deduction for any employee as provided, it shall make that deduction from the employee’s paycheck for next pay period in which such deduction is normally deducted after the first period ending in each month in the amount and from the number of such checks as authorized error has been called to its attention by the employee on or the authorization cardUnion.
2. Deductions for other (i) If there is an increase or decrease in Union membership dues payroll deductions, as determined, and established by the Union, such changes shall be made become effective upon the second pay period following notice from the employee’s paycheck for the first pay period ending in each month in the amount authorized by the employee on the authorization card. Dues Checkoff. SECTION A - UNION DUES DEDUCTION
1. The Company A. Upon written notice from the Union, the Publisher will deduct all Union membership dues from all salaried employees as provided for in the employees’ authorization form set forth below, upon condition that at the time of such notice the Union shall furnish the Publisher with a written authorization executed by the worker in the following form: “I hereby authorize and direct my Employer to deduct from my wages and turn to pay over to the Union on notice from the Union such amounts including initiation fees and assessments (if any owing by me) as my membership dues in said Union as may be established by the Union and become due to it from me during the effective period of this authorization. B. The Publisher will notify the Union promptly of any revocation of such authorization received by it.
C. The Publisher will check off savings and loans from salaries of employees authorizing such to be remitted to the Local 2110 Credit Union. The Publisher shall be held harmless for all such amounts.
D. The Village Voice agrees to deduct from the pay of each employee who individually voluntary contributions to UAW V‐CAP, provided that each such employee executes or has executed an “Authorization for Assignment and voluntarily authorizes the Company in writing Checkoff of Contributions to make such deductionsUAW V‐CAP” form. The term “Union Membership Dues”, as used herein, shall include Union initiation or reinstatement fees of employees rehired by the Company with or without seniority when such employees are reinstated or rejoin the Union. A properly executed copy of the “Authorization for Assignment and Checkoff of Contributions to UAW V‐CAP” form for each employee for whom voluntary contributions to UAW V‐CAP are to be deducted hereunder, shall be delivered to the Village Voice before any such deductions are made. Deductions shall be made thereafter, only under the applicable “Authorization for Assignment and Checkoff of Contributions to UAW V‐CAP” forms which have been properly executed and are in effect. The Village Voice agrees to remit said deductions promptly to UAW V‐CAP, care of the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW). 5. salary, including the breakdown for any commission or upon receipt bonus arrangements, or other forms of compensation;
6. any merit increases granted by name of the employee, individual amount, resulting new salary, and effective date;
7. salary changes by reason thereof, and effective date;
8. resignations, retirements, deaths;
9. and other revisions in data from the prior month. The Employer shall furnish to the Guild in writing, within one week after a new employee’s employment commences, the name, date of birth, address, telephone number, personal email, address, gender, minority group status (if such information is obtained by the Company Employer at the time of written revocation by hire), date of hiring, job title and description, CV, and salary of any person hired after the employee of such authorization card in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1(b) 2 date of this Section A.Agreement. (2) “This assignment shall be irrevocable for one year from this date or until the termination of the Agreement between the Company and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers now in effect, whichever occurs first. It shall be deemed automatically renewed for like periods during the term of such Agreement and each succeeding applicable Agreement unless I give notice by certified mail to the Company and the Union not more than twenty days and not less than ten days prior to the expiration of each automatically renewed period.” SIGNATURE DATE Deductions for that portion of the Union membership dues consisting of Union initiation fees or reinstatement fees, as provided above, shall be made from the employee’s paycheck for the first period ending in each month in the amount and from the number of such checks as authorized by the employee on the authorization card.
2. Deductions for other Union membership dues shall be made from the employee’s paycheck for the first pay period ending in each month in the amount authorized by the employee on the authorization card. In the event a deduction for such dues is not made on one or more consecutive regular payroll deduction dates due to the lack of earnings or insufficient earnings by the employee, then on the next regular payroll deduction date that the employee has sufficient earnings, one double deduction shall be made.
3. Such payroll deductions shall begin within two weeks subsequent to receipt by the Accounting Department of the Company of the authorization cards provided for in Paragraph (a) above.
4. The Company’s obligation to make such deductions shall terminate in the event the employee shall cease to be an employee as defined in Article I, of this Agreement or upon receipt by the Company of written revocation by the employee of such authorization card in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1(b) 2 of this Section A.

Dues Checkoff. SECTION A - UNION DUES DEDUCTION
1. A. The Company will deduct agrees that upon thirty (30) days’ notice thereafter from the employees’ wages Guild, it shall deduct initiation fees and turn over to the Union the Union membership dues and assessments uniformly required on a percentage basis of gross wages or incorporated with dues as designated by the Guild upon receipt from each bargaining unit employee who individually and voluntarily authorizes the Company in writing signs a voluntary check-off authorization card in the form and in the manner provided below and provided that all other circumstances comply with all applicable provisions of federal law. “I, the undersigned, hereby authorize and direct Vox Media, LLC, to make such deductions. The term “Union Membership Dues”checkoff from my wages every week union membership dues and assessments uniformly required as well as initiation fees, if owing, as used herein, shall include Union initiation or reinstatement fees of employees rehired by the Company with or without seniority when such employees are reinstated or rejoin the Union. Such deductions shall be made in accordance with the following provisions:
a) Such deductions shall be made only in accordance with instructions upon authorization cards, which shall be in a form mutually agreed to, between the Company and the Union. In order to be effective, such authorization cards shall be delivered promulgated by the Union according to the Accounting Department procedure set forth in the constitution of the Company. Such authorizations WGA and pay same to the Writers Guild of America, East, Inc., 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxxx, New York, New York 10013. This authorization and assignment shall be irrevocable for the term of the applicable collective bargaining contract between the Guild and the Company, or for a period of one year from the date thereof or until the termination date of this Agreementappearing hereon, whichever occurs first.
b) It is agreed between the Company sooner, and the Union that any employee of the Company who is shall automatically renew itself for successive yearly periods or may hereafter become a member of the Union may authorize the collection of Union dues by the signing of a Voluntary Check-Off Authorization Card as follows:
(1) “I hereby authorize Swissport Fueling of Nevada, Inc. to deduct from my wages such sum per month as may be due hereafter on account of initiation applicable contract year period unless and reinstatement fees and monthly membership dues in the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. The sums thus deducted are hereby assigned by me to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and are to be remitted by the Company and to the appropriate financial secretary of the Union.”
(2) “This assignment shall be irrevocable for one year from this date or until the termination of the Agreement between the Company and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers now in effect, whichever occurs first. B. Dues shall be deducted on each payday. The Company further agrees to furnish the Guild at the time it remits the dues deducted to the Guild, a roster of all bargaining unit employees’ names, weekly rate of pay, date of employment, and fees/dues deducted, or, if no deduction was made, the reason for that portion not making a deduction.
C. Within ten (10) business days of a new hire’s date of employment, the Company will permit time for Union representatives to meet with the new Employee to review the terms of the Union membership dues consisting of Union initiation fees or reinstatement fees, as provided above, shall be made from the employee’s paycheck for the first period ending in each month in the amount and from the number of such checks as authorized by the employee on the authorization cardAgreement.
