Callout Time Which Abuts the Succeeding Shift (1) If the callout is for three hours or less, the employee will be required to work the callout period and the whole of the abutting shift. In this case, compensation shall be overtime rates for the callout period and straight-time rate for the regular shift.

Notice and Service Thereof 1.5.1 Any notice from one party to the other or otherwise under the Contract Documents shall be in writing and shall be dated and signed by the party giving notice or by a duly authorized representative of that party. Second Shift The second shift shall be seven and one-half (7½) hours of continuous employment, except for lunch period at mid-shift, and shall be paid eight (8) hours at the straight time hourly wage rate.
Overtime or Callout Which Does Not Abut the Succeeding Shift (1) When overtime is worked there shall be an elapsed time of eight hours between the end of overtime and the time the employee reports for duty on the next regular shift, with no shortfall out of their regular shift.
Rotating Shifts Nurses required to work rotating shifts (days, evenings and nights) shall be scheduled in such a way as to equitably as possible assign the rotation. This does not preclude a Nurse from being continuously assigned to an evening or night shift if the Nurse and the Employer mutually agree to such an arrangement.
Work Shift The hours an employee is scheduled to work each workday in a workweek.
