Common use of Earned Vacation Clause in Contracts

Earned Vacation. Eligible employees shall earn vacation according to the following rate and schedule: Number of vacation days earned will be converted to hours (8 hours for an 8 hour employee and pro-rated hours for employees working less than 8 hours) Beginning year 1 through 5 4 days 8 days 10 days Beginning year 6 through 10 6 days 12 days 15 days Beginning year 11 through 15 8 days 16 days 20 days Beginning year 16+ 10 days 20 days 25 days
