Ecuador. Any dispute arising out or relating to this Agreement will be submitted to the civil judges of Quito and to the verbal summary proceeding. Any discrepancy that may arise between the parties in the execution, interpretation or compliance of this Agreement that may not be directly resolved shall be submitted to the Jurisdiction and Competence of the Judges and Tribunals of the 'Cercado de Lima' Judicial District.

Ecuador. The child will become the adoptive parent(s) legally adopted child after case has exited the Minsterio de Inclusion, Ecomonica y Social (MIES), court, and the adoption is full and final. Adoptive parent(s) will accept full responsibility of this child as their own. Should the adoptive parent(s) then, while still in country, decide they do not want to parent this child after being considered the legal parent(s), they agree to provide financial support for the child until the legal solution is found for the dissolution of the adoption/ The law in Ecuador does NOT allow the ability to dissolve the adoption. The adoptive parent(s) understand that this process could take several years and they will be fully responsible for any court costs, attorney’s fees, multiple travel or extended stay in country to find a way to legally dissolve the adoption. The adoptive parent(s) agrees to pay these fees. If the adoptive parent(s) leave the child without legal arrangements in place, they can be charged with child abandonment and potential arrest in the country of the child’s birth. The adoptive parent(s) understand this is a serious situation and agree to be responsible, to stay in touch with Children’s House International and to finish all the steps necessary so that the child can be re-referred to another family by XXXX. REVIEW ONLY The child will become the adoptive parent(s) legally adopted child after case has exited the Central Adoption Authority of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection and the court, and the adoption is full and final. Adoptive parent(s) will accept full responsibility of this child as their own. Ecuador. The victims and their family members in this case have been receiving psychological care through the project. The hearings took place on July 7th and 8th 2004. The Court called Xxx Xxxxxxx, a member of the team-network, to serve as psychological expert witness in the hearing; she also accompanied the victim and members of the victim's family. On September 7th and 8th during its Sixty-Fourth Regular Session, the Court held hearings on the case Xxxxxxx Sisters vs.. El Salvador, also covered by the project. Again, team-network specialist Xxx Xxxxxxx served as psychological expert witness by affidavit. Xxxxxxx Xxxxx, a psychologist from the Salvadorean organization Pro-búsqueda and a co-petitioner in the case, was on hand as accompanying psychologist for the family.
