Education Act and Regulations. The Board and the Teachers shall abide by the Education Act, its Regulations and the Ontario Labour Relations Act. AGREEMENT- I On each pay date on which an employee is paid, the Employer shall deduct from each employee the dues and any dues chargeable by the Bargaining Unit. The amounts shall be determined by the and/or the Bargaining Unit in accordance with their respective constitutions and forwarded in writing to the Employer at least thirty (30) calendar days prior to the expected date of change. The dues deducted shall be remitted to the Treasurer of at Mobile Drive, Toronto, Ontario no later than the end of the month following the date on which the deductions were made. Such remittance shall be accompanied by a list identifying the employees, their Social Insurance Numbers (SIN), annual salary and the amounts deducted. Dues specified by the Bargaining Unit, if any, shall be deducted and remitted to the Treasurer of District Rainy River District Bargaining Unit no later than the end of the month following the date on which the deductions were made. Such remittance shall be accompanied by a list identifying the employees, their Social Insurance Numbers, annual salary and the amounts deducted. The and/or the Bargaining Unit, as the case may be, shall indemnify and hold the Employer harmless from any claims, suits, attachments and any form of liability as a result of such deductions authorized by the and/or the Bargaining Unit. The Bargaining Unit agrees to execute such directions as may be necessary to authorize such deductions. The Board agrees to notify in writing and seek input from the Bargaining Unit prior to making changes to or finalizing any policies which directly affect Teacher evaluations or working conditions. Teacher evaluations shall be conducted according to evaluation procedures AGREEMENT established by Board Policy as amended from time to time. No member of the Bargaining Unit shall evaluate another Bargaining Unit member. Article DEFINITIONS Teacher shall have the same meaning as in the Education Act. Experience Experience shall mean experience in teaching or in business or a related field which is deemed acceptable by the Board as established at the time of hiring.
