Common use of EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND Clause in Contracts

EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. 17.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Education Fund the amount shown in Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement, and shall remit such contributions to the Union's Administrator. 17.02 The Education and Assistance Fund shall be used by the Union to assist members in exercising their right to work and have access to job sites, to educate and instruct members in the competent practice of their trade, and to instruct specific members in labour relations.
