EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND. 13.01 The Employer shall contribute ten cents ($0.10) for every hour worked for each employee covered by this Agreement and remit such contributions monthly, together with other remittances to the Union, and accounted for on the remittance form provided by the Union. 13.02 The purpose of the Education and Assistance Fund is to assist members in exercising their right to work and have access to jobsites, to educate and instruct members in the competent and safe practice of their trade and to instruct Stewards in the practice of progressive labour relations on behalf of members.
