Effect on Seniority or PTO. An authorized leave of absence shall not affect previous accumulated seniority or PTO. Subject to the requirements of federal and state law, seniority and PTO will cease to accumulate during such unpaid leave, provided that a leave taken for a period of thirty (30) days or less within an anniversary year shall not alter an employee’s anniversary date of employment.
