It covers: ● Proceedings and procedures of the Board ● Appointment and performance of the HeadmasterCompliance with all legislation ● Community consultation ● Strategic and Annual PlansPolicies and procedures of the School Under this Charter, The Board of Trustees and the School will ensure that the school complies with all legislative requirements including attendance, length of school day and length of school year. The Board will work together with students and our communities in a spirit of open communication, cooperation and understanding, to enhance and improve the achievement of students. Key responsibilities are: ● The full responsibilities of governance consistent with current legislation and the school charter ● To plan for the school’s development through effective strategic and annual planning ● To identify, develop and maintain relationships and communication with the school’s communities developing policies and practices that reflect New Zealand’s cultural diversity and the unique position of Maori culture ● To be responsible for the effective delivery of education to meet the National curriculum and other academic objectives and contribute to the needs of the school’s communities ● To be responsible for the allocation of the school’s budget through effective strategic and annual planning ● To ensure the school is organised, resourced and supervised to meet the Charter plans ● To recognise the unique place of Maori in the school, and to take all reasonable steps to provide tikanga and Te Reo instruction when appropriate The Board’s Standing Committees review their compliance with all legislative requirements including attendance, length of school day and length of school year.   • Shared Governance The parties shall develop a variety of shared governance models which schools may consider. Schools shall select a model that best suits their needs or the staff may develop an alternative model of governance with direct involvement by teachers, other staff and community representatives. Staff approval and commitment to the model is essential. The selected model of governance will be specifically described in each school's improvement plan.

  • TITLE AND ADMINISTRATION All site work performed in furtherance of this purchase order will be on real property owned by the U.S. Government. Title and all property rights and interests resulting from this purchase order shall pass directly from Supplier to the Government, upon acceptance, regardless of when or where the Government takes physical possession. Payments under this purchase order will be made by Buyer from funds advanced by the Government, not from Buyer’s own assets. Administration of this purchase order may be transferred to DOE or its designee, and in case of such transfer and notice thereof to Supplier, Buyer shall have no further responsibilities hereunder.
