Common use of ELECTION DAYS Clause in Contracts

ELECTION DAYS. Any employee eligible to vote in a Federal, Provincial or Municipal election or referendum who does not have three (3) consecutive hours free from his/her employment between the hours of the opening and closing of the poll on polling day, is entitled to have such time as may be required to provide him/her with three (3) consecutive hours during the hours in which the polls are open in which to cast his/her ballot. The period of time shall be granted to each employee at the time of day that best suits the convenience of the Employer.
