TEACHING DAYS AND HOURS. A. When the regular school calendar is being formulated, the Superintendent shall invite the President of the Association or his/her designee to discuss them.
TEACHING DAYS AND HOURS. A. Student starting and dismissal times are subject to modification by statute or Board policy or administration. However, modifications to the ranges below will be mutually agreed upon by the administration and the Association. The accepted ranges for the starting and dismissal times for the students are: Elementary The range is from 8:30 to 2:30 or 9:00 to 3:00 Middle -- The range is from 8:30 to 3:10 Secondary The range is from 7:35 to 2:30 (Tech/Alternative School) or 7:45 to 2:20 (High Schools) Administration may make adjustments in start/stop times at individual schools on an annual basis as long as they do not lengthen the school day or deviate more than fifteen (15) minutes from the above starting and dismissal times. No teacher will be required to report earlier than 7:30 am.
TEACHING DAYS AND HOURS. 28.01 The teacher workday shall not exceed 7 hours 15 minutes including consecutive 30- minutes duty-free lunch. The teacher shall sign a sign-out sheet before leaving the building during lunch.

TEACHING DAYS AND HOURS. A. The maximum length of the bargaining member's workday shall not exceed seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours. This will include a consecutive uninterrupted thirty (30) minute lunch period not being restricted to the building, which should not include any duties. Any teacher leaving the building during the lunch period will use their keycard to exit and then again upon reentering the building.
TEACHING DAYS AND HOURS. A. The Board will arrange daily working schedules for Teachers in such a manner as to provide at least thirty (30) minutes of time between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. during which Teachers shall have no assignment of duty of any kind.

One hundred seventy- eight (178) days when students are in attendance, two (2) parent-teacher conference days, and two (2) teacher in-service days. The Board may add one (1) additional day to the minimum with prior notice to and consultation with the Association. The teacher’s day will include a minimum thirty (30) minute uninterrupted duty free lunch period.
TEACHING DAYS AND HOURS. A. The Board and the Association agree that teachers will not be required to be present at school more than the number of days dictated by the calendar.
TEACHING DAYS AND HOURS. B. Teachers shall work a seven and one-half quarter (7½ 7¼) hour day with a minimum of a thirty (30) minute duty free lunch period. ECE teachers shall work an average of seven (7) hours a day each five (5) day work week (35 hours per week) with a minimum of a thirty (30) minute duty free lunch period each work day. It is mutually agreed the student day will not start before 7:45 a.m. or after 9:15 a.m. Teachers, except for ECE teachers, shall be free to leave their assigned buildings on Fridays or the day before a contractual holiday after the teachers ensure the safe and orderly student dismissal and departure from school. It is further agreed that K-5 elementary teachers assigned before school or after school playground or bus duties may leave fifteen (15) minutes early on that day, except Friday, or the day after they were involved with the activity. When possible, assignment to such activities will be on a voluntary basis.
