Election of Cash/Compensatory Time Off. Justice— (a) Employees eligible for compensation for overtime worked shall receive compensatory time, if overtime is required, unless the employee elects to receive cash, except as provided for in Article 32, Section 4. The eligible employee will receive compensatory time unless they request cash no later than thirty (30) days following the date the overtime was worked. (b) If an employee eligible for compensation volunteers for an overtime opportunity, the Agency shall determine the method of compensation if the overtime is a result of periodic peak workloads pursuant to Article 32, Section 4.
