Elementary Counselors. Each elementary school will be assigned a 1.0 counselor. An elementary counselor with a caseload greater than 700 students shall have workload relief through the assignment of additional 0.5 FTE certificated counselors staffed at the school. Beginning in the 2022-23 school year and as long as the state funds enhanced counseling support for such schools, the District will also staff an additional 0.5 FTE certificated counselor at a school with over 50% of the student population qualifying for free or reduced lunch.

Elementary Counselors. Elementary school counselors work year shall be equal in days to the teachers’ work year.
Elementary Counselors. Elementary Counselors will be staffed at one per 550 students. The calculation will be based on total elementary student enrollment on May 1 of prior year. Overages will be paid at $5 per student per quarter paid quarterly for each student that exceeds 550.
