MEET AND DISCUSS. 7.1 The President or the President's representative shall meet periodically at a mutually agreeable time with a representative designated by the AAUP to discuss matters related to the administration of the Agreement. These discussions shall neither substitute for, nor circumvent, the contractual grievance procedure. 7.2 Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude the University President (or his/her representative) and the AAUP President (or his/her representative) from discussing any matters of mutual concern. Three (3) such meetings per academic year may be called upon the request of either party with additional meetings as mutually agreed.
MEET AND DISCUSS. A. The Chancellor of the STATE SYSTEM or their designee shall meet monthly with a committee appointed by APSCUF for the purpose of discussing matters related to the implementation of this Agreement. B. The UNIVERSITY President or their designee shall meet monthly with a committee appointed by the UNIVERSITY Chapter of APSCUF for the purpose of discussing matters related to the implementation of this Agreement unless APSCUF requests to have a separate meet and discuss format for COACHES at the UNIVERSITY level. C. Meetings shall be scheduled in such manner and at such times as the parties may mutually determine. D. A record of the proceedings of such meetings, which accurately reflects the substance of the discussion, shall be maintained if the parties at such meetings mutually agree.

MEET AND DISCUSS. 9.1 To assure the efficient and harmonious operation of the University, the parties agree to meet and discuss at least once a month any matters of official concern, including budget proposals and long-range planning, or matters relative to this agreement, arising during the life of this contract which require attention. The AAUP committee for this purpose shall consist of no more than five members. Agenda items shall be submitted by both parties at least one week in advance. 9.2 From time to time the President of the AAUP may feel that it is necessary to meet with the President of the University on non-contractual items. When such need arises, upon the request of the AAUP, a meeting at a mutually agreeable time will be held. It is understood by the parties that these meetings are not meant to replace the purpose of 9.1 above. 9.3 In the event the AAUP wishes to discuss issues related to collective bargaining with the President, the AAUP will request such a meeting through the Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Payroll in charge of collective bargaining and provide an agenda of such meeting to that office at least one week in advance of the meeting. Except by mutual agreement, such meetings shall not be held more than once during each school semester. 9.4 Nothing in this article curbs the right of the Administration to meet with committees or individual faculty members to discuss such matters as the Administration desires with the exception of those items which are reserved, by statute, for negotiations with the bargaining agent.
MEET AND DISCUSS. A. Upon request of either party, the Chancellor and/or designees of the Chancellor shall during the term of this Agreement meet with a committee appointed by the Association for the purpose of discussing matters necessary to the implementation of this Agreement. B. The request for any such meetings shall include a list of the specific matter(s) to be discussed. A copy of any request shall be sent simultaneously to the offices of the Director of Labor Relations and the Association's Higher Education Representative. C. If the matters to be discussed are University-wide, appropriate arrangements will be made by the Chancellor's office to schedule the meeting within two (2) weeks of notice in such manner and at such times as the parties mutually agree. The Association Committee shall be of reasonable size and shall not exceed eight (8) persons. Likewise, the number of University System representatives shall not exceed eight (8). Six (6) meetings per year, if requested, shall constitute compliance with this section. Additional meetings may be scheduled by mutual consent in the manner described above. D. If the matters to be discussed are related to a particular campus, the Chancellor's Office will notify the chief administrative officer of that campus who shall make the appropriate arrangements to schedule the meeting within two (2) weeks of receipt of notice in such manner and at such times as the parties mutually agree. The Association Committee shall be of reasonable size and shall not exceed six (6) persons. Likewise, the number of University System representatives shall not exceed six (6). Two (2) meetings per semester per campus, if requested, shall constitute compliance with this section. Additional meetings may be scheduled by mutual consent in the manner described above. E. Such meetings shall not be for the purpose of discussing specific grievances, conducting collective bargaining negotiations on any subject, or modifying, adding to or deleting any provision of this Agreement. F. Matters of common concern, other than those specified in paragraph A, may be placed on the list of matters to be discussed with the Chancellor by mutual agreement of the Chancellor and the Association.
MEET AND DISCUSS. Representatives of the University and the UFE shall confer at such reasonable times as either party may request to consider problems covered by this Agreement.
MEET AND DISCUSS. 12-1 The parties do hereby agree that matters of a “Meet and Discuss” nature, as defined under Section 702 of Act 194 and the findings of the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, may be considered under the “Meet and Discuss” provisions as set forth in Section 301 (17), and in compliance with Section 1201(a)(9) of the Public Employee Act 195.

In addition, representatives of CSU-AAUP shall be entitled to appear, upon request, before the Finance and Administration Committee of the Board on matters related to terms and conditions of employment after submitting a brief written statement of their concerns and obtaining an approved agenda schedule. Similarly, CSU-AAUP shall be entitled to appear on the same basis and under the same conditions as other duly authorized organizations before any appropriate Board committee. The parties understand and agree that such meetings shall not constitute or be used for the purpose of collective bargaining negotiations.

The UConn-AAUP committee for this purpose shall consist of no more than five (5) members of the bargaining unit. Agenda items shall be submitted by both parties at least one (1) week in advance. 9.2 In the event the UConn-AAUP wishes to discuss issues related to collective bargaining or non-contractual issues with the President, the UConn-AAUP will request such a meeting through the University official in charge of collective bargaining and provide an agenda of such meeting to that office at least one (1) week in advance of the meeting. Depending on the submitted agenda such meeting with the President or their designee shall be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time and place. Except by mutual agreement, such meetings shall not be held more than once during each school semester. 9.3 Nothing in this article restricts the right of the Administration to meet with committees or individual faculty members to discuss such matters as the Administration desires with the exception of those items which are reserved, by statute, for negotiations with the bargaining agent.
