Eligibilit. A To be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must have worked the last scheduled work day before, and the first scheduledwork day following, the holiday. However, if an employee is absenton either or both of thesedays as a result of personal illness or on- the-job accident or illness, or with prior approval of his supervisor (non-bargaining unit), the employee will be considered to have met these requirements.
