Overtime Eligibility a. To be eligible for an overtime assignment, an employee must be qualified to perform the work. Employees are responsible for maintaining an accurate record of their qualifications and may not remove a qualification without Company approval. b. Overtime is permitted for employees off on Union time, off on military leave, jury duty or for testimony in a judicial proceeding, while on special assignment, during in-station training, on a vacation day, DAT or Holiday, and on a day trade off. Employees on a vacation day, DAT or floating holiday will be eligible for overtime from the end of the last regularly scheduled shift prior to the vacation, DAT or floating holiday through the vacation period, but will be placed on the bottom of the overtime equalization list until they report back for a regularly scheduled shift. c. Employees are ineligible for overtime: (a) during regularly scheduled hours on a day trade off if a DAT day is placed concurrent with the day trade off;
Overtime Eligibility. Employee will continue to work in pay status while telecommuting. This position is Exempt/Not eligible for overtime. Performance Standards. Employee shall continue to meet all performance standards (e.g., productivity; quantity; quality; responsiveness to phone calls, emails, texts) applicable to on-campus Employees. Work On-Site. Employee may be required to work on-campus or on-site, for a period or periods of time, with sufficient advance notice, whenever deemed necessary by their supervisor. Work assignments. Employee shall complete, in a timely manner, all assigned tasks and assignments. Employee will meet via telephone and/or video conference with their immediate supervisor to receive assignments and tasks and to review completed work as necessary or appropriate. Employee will complete all assigned work according to work procedures mutually agreed upon by Employee and the direct supervisor according to guidelines and standards stated in Employee's performance plan and employee’s job description. Telecommuting work will be evaluated through monitoring assignment and project deadlines, responsiveness to client communication, and volume of work completed. Missed deadlines, unreturned calls and emails and projects not completed within assigned timeframes (among other standards/parameters) may be cause for review of this agreement and appropriate disciplinary action. Return of University EquipmentUpon Separation. Employee acknowledges that all materials/equipment that may be provided to them by University shall remain University property. Upon the employee’s separation from employment, all University-provided materials/equipment (including copies of documents) shall be directly returned to the Supervisor within 14 calendar days of the effective date of the employee’s separation. If applicable, the return of all University property includes cooperating with Employee to ensure the return or secure destruction of all electronically stored information (“ESI”) related to University or which constitutes University property, including any such property or work product electronically stored on Employee’s personal computer or other electronic devices. Employee agrees not to modify or delete any such ESI without first notifying their Supervisor or authorized designee and receiving prior written authorization to modify or delete such ESI. Overtime Eligibility. Command Officers are entitled to overtime compensation only as authorized by the Chief of Police. Command Officers shall receive no additional compensation for the performance of routine duties incidental to their normal daily assignments. Examples of circumstances for which additional overtime compensation will not be provided includes preparation for roll call or other similar duty assignments, the completion of routine paperwork at the end of a watch or duty day, and the independent completion of work which should have reasonably been completed during the Command Officer's duty day.

Overtime Eligibility. Employees may volunteer for overtime assignments that they are qualified and eligible for, provided the overtime is not due to the employee’s own vacancy, and the employee would not have to modify his/her regularly scheduled shift to avoid working more than 16 hours in a 24 hour period. If the vacancy is due to an employee changing his/her scheduled work hours, or if his/her scheduled work hours would have to be modified in order to work the overtime and avoid working more than 16 hours in a 24 hour period, he/she may volunteer for that overtime assignment, but only after it is offered to all other eligible employees. Employees whose shifts begin or end within five (5) hours of the overtime assignment will be assigned only if other employees are not available in the required numbers. Officers may volunteer for overtime details while on approved vacation time or compensatory time off, provided the detail is not during the employee’s hours they requested to be off. Absent the existence of operational necessity, employees who are on compensatory time off, vacation, or sick leave will not be assigned overtime. The Department, absent operational necessity, will not assign overtime on those days off that are contiguous with the police officer’s vacation or compensatory time.

Overtime Eligibility. Mobility Operators, Transit Fleet, and Maintenance Utility employees are eligible to add their names to the Operator’s overtime list provided they have a proper licence and qualifications and shall be considered for overtime only after all full-time Operators and Extraboard Operators have been approached.
Overtime Eligibility. The Company will, insofar as it is practical and with due regards to production, equalize overtime among employees regularly assigned to and working in the same classification on the same shift and overtime project.
