Eligibility for Further Leaves. Anything in this Section to the contrary notwithstanding, a teacher who has been granted an unpaid leave of absence shall not become eligible for a subsequent leave unless and until such teacher has returned to full-time service for at least one (1) complete school term, provided, under exceptional circumstances, the Board may grant such leave in its sole and absolute discretion. The granting or withholding of such leave shall be without precedential effect.

Nothing in this Subparagraph shall be deemed to deprive any employee of any right to a leave as provided for in the FMLA.

  • Eligibility for Leave All regular full-time employees shall be eligible for paid leave. Further, all regular part-time employees shall receive paid leave on a ration of paid leave time accrued to the number of hours worked in the work week. All non-regular part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees will not be eligible to receive paid leave.

  • Eligibility for Sick Leave Subject to the provisions herein, employees and officers (hereinafter called "employees") who are absent from their duties because of illness or disability are eligible for sick leave.

  • Eligibility for Sick Leave with Pay Employees shall be eligible for sick leave with pay immediately upon accrual.

With County approval, compensatory time earned for working on a holiday or for a holiday falling on a regularly scheduled day off may be taken on the first scheduled working day after the holiday.
