Overtime Eligibility An Employee must work at least fifteen (15) minutes beyond her normal shift before being eligible for overtime compensation.

Benefits on Sick Leave Effective for absences beginning on or after April 1, 2000, the Hospital will pay the employer portion of the benefit premiums while an employee is on sick leave, including the EI period prior to the commencement of long term disability and LTD, to a maximum of 30 months from the date the absence began.
Notification of Sick Leave Days The Board shall notify employees and the Bargaining Unit, when they have exhausted their 11 days allocation of sick leave at 100% of salary.
Eligibility for Sick Leave Subject to the provisions herein, employees and officers (hereinafter called "employees") who are absent from their duties because of illness or disability are eligible for sick leave.
Eligibility to Participate An employee eligible to participate in the State Employee Group Insurance Program, as described in Sections 2A and 2B, may participate in open enrollment. Eligibility for Sick Leave with Pay Employees shall be eligible for sick leave with pay immediately upon accrual.

Sick Leave Credit-Based Retirement Gratuities 1) A Teacher is not eligible to receive a sick leave credit gratuity after August 31, 2012, except a sick leave credit gratuity that the Teacher had accumulated and was eligible to receive as of that day.
