Emergencies and Incidents. 11.1 Plans for Dealing with Incidents (a) In consultation with the Operator, ARTC will formulate and periodically review and update plans which are consistent with ARTC’s Accreditation requirements. (b) The Operator will formulate a plan for dealing with Incidents and provide it to ARTC. The Operator’s plan must be consistent with any plan prepared by ARTC under clause 11.1(a) and is subject to the approval of ARTC, such approval not to be unreasonably withheld. 11.2 Compliance with Plans and Directions and with Rail Safety Acts The Operator and ARTC will follow any plan of the type referred to in clause 11.3 and will comply with their respective obligations under the Rail Safety Acts.

  • Emergencies 10.3.1 In any emergency affecting the safety of persons or property, the Contractor shall act to prevent threatened damage, injury or loss. Any additional compensation or extension of time claimed by the Contractor on account of emergency work shall be determined as provided in Article 12 for Changes in the Work.

  • Outages 9.7.1.1 Outage Authority and Coordination. Interconnection Customer and Transmission Owner may each in accordance with Good Utility Practice in coordination with the other Party and Transmission Provider remove from service any of its respective Interconnection Facilities, System Protection Facilities, Network Upgrades, System Protection Facilities or Distribution Upgrades that may impact the other Party’s facilities as necessary to perform maintenance or testing or to install or replace equipment. Absent an Emergency Condition, the Party scheduling a removal of such facility(ies) from service will use Reasonable Efforts to notify one another and schedule such removal on a date and time mutually acceptable to the Parties. In all circumstances, any Party planning to remove such facility(ies) from service shall use Reasonable Efforts to minimize the effect on the other Parties of such removal.

  • Catastrophic Leave The County will administer a Catastrophic Leave procedure designed to permit individual donations of annual leave, vacation, healthcare leave (8 hours maximum per fiscal year), compensatory and/or PIP leave time to an employee who is required to be on an extended unpaid leave due to a catastrophic medical condition or other serious circumstances.

  • Evacuation (1) If the Combatant Commander orders a mandatory evacuation of some or all personnel, the Government will provide assistance, to the extent available, to United States and third country national contractor personnel. (2) In the event of a non-mandatory evacuation order, unless authorized in writing by the Contracting Officer, the Contractor shall maintain personnel on location sufficient to meet obligations under this contract.

  • Incidents Without prejudice to Article 11 of this attachment, and in accordance with attachment F of the Access Code for Transmission, in case of an incident compromising the safe and efficient operation of the transmission grid and/or the system integrity, urgent measures shall be taken by TSO which can consist inter alia of, without being limited to an interruption and/or reduction of the Transmission Services. The Network Users affected by the interruption and/or reduction and the XXXX shall be informed by the TSO of the event and the estimated duration, according to the reporting obligations described in attachment F of the Access Code for Transmission. The Plan for Incident Management is included in attachment F of the Access Code for Transmission.

  • Emergency Overtime In the event of an emergency as defined in Section 13.15 notwithstanding the terms of this Article, the Agency Head or designee may assign someone to temporarily meet the emergency requirements, regardless of the overtime distribution.

  • Emergency Service Leave Where employees' services are required for emergency operations by request from Provincial Emergency Programs or appropriate police authority, leave from work as required may be granted without loss of basic pay. If any remuneration, other than for expenses, is received, it shall be remitted to the Employer.
