Employee Participation Process. The Union agrees to voluntarily participate in joint processes that provide opportunities for employees at all levels to enhance their working environment. It is agreed that the Company and Union will be partners in this process and will have equal input into formation and composition of teams, goals and purposes, as well as subjects the team may address. The Company and the Union agree to participate in joint processes: (A) When a process review team involves Bargaining Unit employees, the System Committee will provide the names of Bargaining Unit employees to the Company for participation in the process. (B) Teams will not deal with grievances, labor disputes, wages, benefits, rates of pay or otherwise interfere with the terms of the Memorandum of Agreement. All recommendations involving subjects of collective bargaining will be referred to the System Committee for their review and consideration.

The Company and the Union agree to participate in joint processes: (A) When a process review team involves Bargaining Unit employees, the System Committee will provide the names of Bargaining Unit employees to the Company for participation in the process. (B) Teams will not deal with grievances, labor disputes, wages, benefits, rates of pay or otherwise interfere with the terms of the Memorandum of Agreement. (C) The Union shall retain its existing contractual right to grieve joint process actions regarding contractual issues that may inadvertently be addressed by the Employee Participation Process (EPP) team. The EPP will not conflict with any terms or conditions of this collective bargaining agreement and will not reduce any rights or privileges of the employee or employer. (D) If the Company and the Union committees both agree that a team recommendation(s) is a subject of collective bargaining, then the two committees agree to negotiate such recommendations without undue delay even if such occurs during the term of the contract or after regular negotiations have commenced. Management agrees that if an impasse is reached in such negotiations, it will not unilaterally implement the recommendation(s) which is the subject of the impasse during the term of this agreement. (E) Amendments resulting from the application of this section will be placed in effect upon ratification by the Union Membership. (F) The Union and Company will review this agreement. Either party may withdraw from participation at any time by notifying the other party in writing and shall take effect thirty (30) days from receipt of such notice.
Employee Participation Process. The parties have established a program of employee participation, which shall continue. The employee participation program has the following features: it will not consider or accept ideas which are not consistent with the terms of this collective agreement and which will negatively impact on rights, benefits, and protection employees have under the collective agreement. This program will not consider or accept ideas which will eliminate jobs: is company wide; provides opportunities for involvement to all employees who wish to participate; ensures that all ideas which are submitted are seriously considered, and that employees whose ideas are not implemented are told why; has a clear set of criteria which will be used to prioritize and determine which ideas are to be implemented; a graduated approval process designed to allow employees themselves to make implementation decisions on ideas which require minimal expenditure and impact only on their work areas, and to have input into decisions of a larger magnitude;

  • Employee Participation The Employer will assist employees' participation in health promotion and health education programs. Health promotion and health education programs that have been endorsed by the Employer (Minnesota Management & Budget) will be considered to be non-assigned job-related training pursuant to Administrative Procedure 21. Approval for this training is at the discretion of the Appointing Authority and is contingent upon meeting staffing needs in the employee's absence and the availability of funds. Employees are eligible for release time, tuition reimbursement, or a pro rata combination of both. Employees may be reimbursed for up to one hundred (100) percent of tuition or registration costs upon successful completion of the program. Employees may be granted release time, including the travel time, in lieu of reimbursement.

  • Program Participation By participating in the CRF Program, Grantee agrees to: a. Not increase any Eligible Household’s rent through January 2021; b. Waive all costs, fees and charges incurred by Eligible Households as a result of non- payment or partial payment of rent during the impacted months; c. Not consider non-payment or partial payment by Eligible Households during impacted months when considering renewal of an Eligible Household’s lease, or, share this information with other rental properties, credit bureaus and tenant screening companies; d. Not initiate new Eligible Household evictions for non-payment of rent and must suspend all pending evictions of Eligible Households for nonpayment of rent for the duration of the rental payment assistance; e. Not issue a notice to vacate to Eligible Households for nonpayment of rent until the end of the Eviction Relief Period; and f. Not require Eligible Households to vacate the unit until 30 days after such notice.

  • Participation in Benefit Plans The Executive shall be eligible to participate in the employee benefit plans and programs maintained by the Company from time to time for its executives, or for its employees generally, including without limitation any life, medical, dental, accidental and disability insurance and profit sharing, pension, retirement, savings, stock option, incentive stock and deferred compensation plans, in accordance with the terms and conditions as in effect from time to time.

  • COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM PARTICIPATION Arkansas' Purchasing Law provides that local public procurement units (counties, municipalities, school districts, certain nonprofit corporations, etc.) may participate in state purchasing contracts. The contractor therefore agrees to sell to Cooperative Purchasing Program participants at the option of the program participants. Unless otherwise stated, all standard and special terms and conditions listed within the contract must be equally applied to such participants.

  • Company Participation Subject to Section B.5, the Company shall not be liable to indemnify the Indemnitee under this Agreement with regard to any judicial action if the Company was not given a reasonable and timely opportunity, at its expense, to participate in the defense, conduct and/or settlement of such action.

  • Committee Participation 9.01 Except as otherwise provided in this Collective Agreement, an Employee (or the Employee’s alternate) who is a member and attends meetings of a committee established by the Employer, shall be paid at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay for attendance at such meetings.   • Participation in Employee Benefit Plans The Executive shall be permitted during the Term, if and to the extent eligible, to participate in any group life, hospitalization or disability insurance plan, health program, or any pension plan or similar benefit plan of the Company, which is available generally to other senior executives of the Company.

  • Participation in Plans Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the Executive shall have the right to participate in any and all of the plans or programs made available by the Company (or it subsidiaries, divisions or affiliates) to, or for the benefit of, executives (including the annual stock option and restricted stock grant programs) or employees in general, on a basis consistent with other senior executives.

  • Joint Participation The parties hereto participated jointly in the negotiation and preparation of this Release, and each party has had the opportunity to obtain the advice of legal counsel and to review and comment upon the Release. Accordingly, it is agreed that no rule of construction shall apply against any party or in favor of any party. This Release shall be construed as if the parties jointly prepared this Release, and any uncertainty or ambiguity shall not be interpreted against one party and in favor of the other.
