Employees satisfying 2 of the 3 criteria will be ranked a fair employee. An employee who does not meet the criteria in any of the areas will be classified as unsatisfactory. For each job, the list will specify (a) the classification, for the Warehouse-person classification, whether the position is janitor or a clerk the shift, and the area of the building in which the employee will normally work. shall mean the days of the week, and the time of day (i.e. day, afternoon or evening) that the employee holding the job will be regularly scheduled to work. For the purposes of this letter of understanding, a “job” shall be understood to have all of these characteristics attached to it. The application form will also indicate a date by which it must be returned to the Company in order to be considered (“the closing Posting of Jobs to Full Time Employees at Local Distribution Facilities Copies of the application form will be made available to all full time employees in the Local distribution facilities at approximately the same time. The application forms will be made available to employees a reasonable amount of time prior to the closing date. An employee will be entitled to apply for as many jobs on the list as the employee wishes by marking on the list the jobs in which the employee is interested. In applying for jobs, the employee shall indicate an order of preference. For greater clarity, an employee may apply for jobs notwithstanding Article of the distribution facilities collective agreements. The Company will award the projected full time jobs to applicants on the basis of seniority provided that the employee who is applying for the vacancy possesses the qualifications and ability necessary to perform the work in question. For this purpose, the full time seniority lists at all of the Local distribution facilities will be considered to be dove-tailed.
