Common use of Employees Working Alone Clause in Contracts

Employees Working Alone. (a) The Employer agrees to implement appropriate procedures to safeguard employees required to work alone. Proposed procedures shall be referred to the Health and Safety Committee for review. Recommended procedures endorsed by a consensus of the Health and Safety Committee shall be implemented, unless the Employer can demonstrate just and reasonable cause why it is unable to do so. In such instance it shall be the responsibility of the Employer to implement appropriate alternative procedures.
