Common use of Employees Working Alone Clause in Contracts

Employees Working Alone. (a) Employees who work alone shall be supplied appropriate equipment necessary in order to ensure personal safety. Appropriate equipment and the procedure for check-in outlined in (b) below, may vary dependent on the variety of work alone situations. The Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee ("Joint OH&S Committee") shall take input from employees in working alone situations and WorkSafeBC to determine what equipment is appropriate, and make recommendations to the Employer. Equipment shall be supplied and paid for by the Employer.
