Employer's Discretion. The Employer maintains a policy of affording existing employees with an opportunity for promotion and advancement. However, the Employer retains the discretion to choose the most suitable candidate from internal or external applicants based on the criteria of ability, knowledge and qualifications.
Employer's Discretion. The Employer may in its discretion pay Employees in excess of the hourly rates of pay and salaries outlined in this Agreement.
