External Applicants. No external applicants will be considered until present employees have had a full opportunity to apply as provided in Article 13.01 and 13.05
External Applicants. An Employee who is transferred before completing their probationary period shall complete the initial probationary period in the new position.
External Applicants. Only after all of the provisions mentioned above have been met, may the Employer recruit individuals who are not current employees for the position.
External Applicants. An applicant chosen under this clause will transfer her service and her seniority (as a Regular or Temporary Employee of the Employer), and will have all rights set out in this Collective Agreement as if there was no break in continuous employment.
External Applicants. Nurses applying for such vacancies shall be given consideration over outside applicants providing the Hospital determines that the nurse already employed by the Hospital possesses the necessary qualifications for the job.
External Applicants. Where no Bargaining Unit member meets the essential requirements as listed in the job description, external applicants will be assessed against each of the essential requirements as specified in the job description. Methodology may reasonably differ from the assessment of internal candidates.
External Applicants. Where no internal applicant is selected, the Selection Committee may continue the selection process by reviewing the external applicants and interviewing and/or selecting a candidate.
External Applicants. (d) The Company will post the names of the successfully applicant(s) on the bulletin board within 20 days. The Company will give the Association a copy of all job postings and the names of successful applicants. Successful applicants and the Association will be informed of details of the position within 10 days of selection.
(e) Any employee who is transferred to a new position is allowed a 90 day probationary period. During this time the Company assesses the employee’s suitability for the position.
i. The Company may return the employee to his/her former position during this period. Should this occur, the Association will be notified of such. An employee who is returned to his former position shall not lose his/her seniority. Any employee who is returned to his former position is eligible to apply for the other vacancies that may arise.
ii. If a transferred employee wishes to return to his former position within 90 days he may do so without loss of seniority. However, an employee who asks to return to his former positions may not apply for another posted position for a period of 6 months, unless the Company agrees otherwise.
(f) If the employee returns to his former position pursuant to (e) (i) or (ii) above, the Company will review the original application for the vacancy for suitable applicants before reposting. When an employee holding a posted Relief position has accumulated 1560 hours within a 12 month period, in this position, the status of the position shall subsequently change to a full time classified position.
External Applicants. Exception to Qualified/EHC Examiners/Temporary Postings: Internal applicants will be tested. The senior person who achieves at least seventy percent (70%) shall be awarded the position at the position’s rate of pay. If none of the persons tested achieves seventy percent (70%), but one or more of the persons tested achieves at least sixty percent (60%), then the senior person achieving at least sixty percent (60%) will be awarded the position as a trainee at the trainee’s rate of pay.
External Applicants. 11 Nurses applying for such vacancies shall be given consideration over 12 outside applicants providing the Hospital determines that the nurse 13 already employed by the Hospital possesses the necessary 14 qualifications for the job. 15
