Employment and Subcontractor Screening Processes. MVPC+ performs a very thorough prescreening process, as detailed below. Once potential candidates are identified, our Senior Consultant is responsible for ensuring that the candidates meet the qualifications, as presented in the request, by following MVPC+’s screening process, which includes: • Verification of compliance with all mandatory requirements, including education, training, experience and/or certifications • Pertinent previous employment verification and reference checks • Highest level of education verification, which may include consultation with external agencies that specialize in educational evaluation, as necessary • Professional license(s) and certification(s) verification. Verifications are conducted by requesting the license/certification identification numbers, which are then verified with the respective companies that issued them • Proof that the candidate possesses the appropriate documentation to be employed in the United States • Verification of technical skills via an interview with MVPC+ technical staff and/or the use of online quiz sessions or web-based testing, as necessary • Verification that the candidate is available for the proposed start date and duration of the project, and there will not be any issues if they are selected • Industry standard background checks are conducted as part of MVPC+’s standard procedures, if required upon selection • Completion of the Florida “Resume Self-Certification Form” for each candidate at the time their resume is submitted All candidates presented by MVPC+ to the Department for consideration in response to a request will have been thoroughly screened, as described above, within the response time allowed by the contract.
