Common use of Employment Deemed Continuous Clause in Contracts

Employment Deemed Continuous. Except as otherwise provided in this Article, the employment of an employee who is on leave under Article 12 shall be deemed to be continuous for purposes of annual vacation entitlement, pension plan (unless otherwise prevented by the MPP rules) or RRSP, seniority, wage increases, medical or other benefits that the employee would have been entitled to had the leave not been taken.
