Common use of Employment Deemed Continuous Clause in Contracts

Employment Deemed Continuous. a) An employee on benefits under Article 11 will continue to accrue seniority, vacation time and pay as though the employee were not on leave. b) An employee on benefits under Article 11 is entitled to all increases in wages and benefits that the employee would have been entitled to had the leave not been taken. c) The Employer will continue to pay any RRSP contributions, medical or other plan beneficial to an employee, as if the employee were not on leave.
