Enrollee Educational Events a. Enrollee educational events may be hosted by the Managed Care Plan or an outside entity and must be held in a public venue. The Managed Care Plan shall ensure that events are not held at in-home or one-on-one settings. b. Educational events may not include any marketing activities such as the distribution of marketing materials. The Managed Care Plan shall explicitly advertise educational events as “educational;” otherwise, the Agency will consider the event to be a marketing event. c. The Managed Care Plan shall advertise these educational events in a way that reasonably targets only current enrollees (e.g., direct mail flyers, and not the mass marketplace; radio or newspaper ad). d. The Managed Care Plan shall ensure that materials distributed or made available at an educational event are free of Managed Care Plan-specific information including Managed Care Plan benefits, descriptive information, or individual contact information, unless approved by the Agency as enrollee material as specified under this Contract. e. The Managed Care Plan may conduct the following permissible activities at enrollee educational events: (1) Distribute public event material with the Managed Care Plan name, logo, product tag line, telephone contact number and/or website. (2) Distribute nominal gifts which may display the Managed Care Plan name, logo, product tag line, and telephone contact number which may include the Managed Care Plan’s website. The Managed Care Plan shall ensure that nominal gifts are free of benefit information and consistent with the requirements of nominal gift specified in Section III.D.13. of this Contract. (3) Display promotional material such as banners, posters or other displays with the Managed Care Plan name, logo, product tag line, telephone contact number and/or website. f. At enrollee educational events, the Managed Care Plan shall not: (1) Distribute or display business reply cards, scope of appointment forms or sign- up sheets. (2) Set up personal/individual marketing appointments or get permission for an outbound call to the enrollee. (3) Attach business cards or Managed Care Plan individual contact information to educational materials, unless requested by the enrollee. (4) Advertise an educational event and then have a marketing event immediately following in the same general location (e.g., same hotel). g. The Managed Care Plan shall submit enrollee material for educational events to the Agency but prior Agency approval is not required...

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Health Promotion and Health Education Both parties to this Agreement recognize the value and importance of health promotion and health education programs. Such programs can assist employees and their dependents to maintain and enhance their health, and to make appropriate use of the health care system. To work toward these goals:

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Resident Educator Program The four-year program is designed to provide newly licensed Ohio educators quality mentoring and guidance. Successful completion of the residency program is required to advance to a five-year professional educator license.

  • Extended Health Care Plan ‌ The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable extended health care plan.

  • General Education University Program Requirements All MTA applicable courses require a grade “C” or higher

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund effective January 1st, 2013 and each year thereafter, two thousand ($2,000.00) for the purpose of providing Paid Education Leave. Said Paid Education Leave will be for the purpose of upgrading the Dependent Contractor’s skills in all aspects of trade union functions. Such monies will be paid into a trust fund established by the National Union, Unifor and sent by the Company to the following address: Unifor Education Leave Program c/o Unifor 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx, XX X0X 0X0 The Company further agrees that members of the bargaining unit selected by the Union to attend such courses will be granted a Leave of Absence without pay for twenty (20) days class time, plus travel time where necessary, with said Leave of Absence to be intermittent over a twelve (12) month period from the first day of leave. Dependent Contractors on such leave will continue to accrue seniority and benefits during such leave.
