Entitlement to Other Sick Leave. Each employee shall once a year be credited with a total of one hundred (100) days of sick leave inclusive of the sick leave provided under Section 12.1 of this Article, carried over from previous fiscal years. Each day of sick leave provided by this Section shall be compensated at the rate of fifty percent (50%) of the employee’s regular salary. The paid sick leave provided for in this Section shall be in addition to any other paid leave provided for in this Article and shall be used after the exhaustion of the leaves provided in Sections 12.1 and 12.4.
