Common use of Entitlement to Other Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Entitlement to Other Sick Leave. When a person employed in the classified service is absent from his/her duties on account of illness or accident for a period of five (5) months or less, whether or not the absence arises out of or in the course of employment of the unit member, the amount deducted from the salary due him/her for any month in which the absence occurs shall not exceed the sum which is actually paid a substitute employee employed to fill his/her position during his/her absence.

Entitlement to Other Sick Leave. When a person employed in the classified service unit member is absent from his/her duties on account of illness or accident for a period of five (5) months or less, whether or not the absence arises out of or in the course of employment of the unit member’s employment, the amount deducted from the salary due him/her to the unit member for any month in which the absence occurs shall not exceed the sum which is actually paid to a substitute employee employed to fill his/her the position during his/her the absence.

When a person employed in the classified service an employee is absent from his/her duties on account of industrial or nonindustrial illness or accident for a period of five (5) months or less, whether or not the absence arises out of or in the course of employment of the unit member, the amount deducted from the his/her salary due him/her for any month in which the absence occurs shall not exceed the sum which is actually paid a substitute employee employed to fill his/her position during his/her his absence.

When a person employed in the classified service an employee is absent from his/her duties on account of long term illness or accident for a period of five (5) months or less, whether or not the absence arises out of or in the course of employment of the unit memberemployee, the amount deducted from the salary due him/her for any month in which the absence occurs shall not exceed the sum which is actually paid a substitute employee employed to fill his/her position during his/her absence.

Entitlement to Other Sick Leave. When a classified person employed in the classified service is absent from his/her his duties on account of illness or accident for extended sick leave for a period of five (5) months or less, whether less because of personal illness or not the absence arises out of or in the course of employment of the unit memberinjury, the amount deducted from the salary due him/her for him in any month in which the absence occurs shall not no exceed the sum which is actually paid to a substitute employee employed assigned to fill his/her his position during his/her his absence.

Entitlement to Other Sick Leave. When a person employed in the classified service is absent from his/her duties on account of illness or accident for a period of five (5) months or less, whether or not the absence arises out of or in the course of employment of the unit member, the amount deducted from the salary due him/her for any month in which the absence occurs shall not exceed the sum which is actually paid a substitute employee employed hired to fill his/her position during his/her absence. This period of five (5) months shall run consecutively after industrial accident or illness leave is exhausted.
