Entitlement to Spousal Leave. An eligible employee is entitled to up to a maximum of 52 weeks leave. An eligible officer is entitled to one week paid Xxxxxxx Leave. Paid Spousal Leave shall be taken as a one week block. The timing of such leave is at the employee's discretion, providing that the period is taken within five weeks of the time of confinement of the spouse. The one week period of leave is inclusive of any public holidays arising within that time.
