Spousal Leave. Upon the birth of a child, an Employee who is the spouse of the primary care-giver shall be granted special leave with pay and benefits for up to a maximum of five (5) days.
Spousal Leave. Upon request a teacher shall receive one (1) school day of paid leave for the purpose of being with his/her spouse during delivery. One (1) school day of paid leave at home immediately following the release of his/her spouse and/or child shall be granted upon request of the teacher.
Spousal Leave. Upon the birth of a child, the spouse of the person giving birth, including same sex and common-law spouse or the co-parent, shall be entitled to three (3) working days leave of absence with pay which may be taken, at the option of the employee, at any time commencing as early as the date of hospitalization or delivery and ending on the thirtieth (30th) day after the child arrives home. It shall be the employee's option whether or not to take this leave consecutively.
Spousal Leave. Members of the Association who so request and do not otherwise have other leave options available under this agreement will have available three (3) personal days for the birth/adoption of a child in their immediate household. This time will be in addition to the personal time provided in Article 13 – Personal Business/Family Days.
Spousal Leave. The company will grant with pay a 16 hour spousal leave for birth or legal adoption. These hours will be paid at straight time. These hours will be granted per Table1.
Spousal Leave. 3.2.1 An eligible employee who produces a certificate from a medical practitioner which states their spouse’s expected date of confinement, will be entitled to one week’s paid spousal leave in connection with the birth of a child/children for whom that employee has accepted responsibility. This period of paid spousal leave will be taken as the initial absence on parental leave and is inclusive of any public holidays arising within that time. The period of paid spousal leave cannot be extended other than by the employee taking the leave on a half-pay basis.
Spousal Leave. A similar leave shall be granted to the spouse of any employee who is inducted or who enlists to join him/her for the period of training in preparation for duty overseas in combat zones.
Spousal Leave. The second spouse will be granted a leave up to ten (10) days when a child is born or adopted during the school year. The spouse’s leave will be deducted from their sick leave.
Spousal Leave. An employee whose spouse gives birth to a child or adopts a child shall be granted four (4) working days paid leave contiguous to the event and, upon request by the employee, shall be granted up to fifty-two (52) weeks unpaid leave. Employment benefits during the unpaid leave may be maintained on condition that the employee pays their share of the premium cost. The employee shall not be entitled to any sick leave benefits during the leave of absence. Seniority accrual is explained In Article 11.07 (a).
Spousal Leave. 5.4.1 In accordance with the School’s Family Leave Policy, an eligible Employee who produces a certificate from a medical practitioner which states the Employee’s spouse’s expected date of confinement or adoption will be entitled to one (1) week’s paid spousal leave in connection with the birth of a child/children or adoption for whom the Employee has accepted responsibility. This period of paid spousal leave will be taken as the initial absence on any period of unpaid parental leave and is inclusive of any public holidays arising within that time.
