Equal Benefits Requirements. As part of the competitive solicitation and procurement process a Contractor seeking a Contract shall certify that upon award of a Contract it will provide benefits to Domestic Partners of its employees on the same basis as it provides benefits to employees' spouses. The certification shall be in writing and signed by an authorized officer of the Contractor. Failure to provide such certification shall result in a Contractor being deemed non- responsive.

Equal Benefits Requirements. (1) No Awarding Authority of the City shall execute or amend any Contract with any Contractor that discriminates in the provision of Benefits between employees with spouses and employees with Domestic Partners, between spouses of employees and Domestic Partners of employees, and between dependents and family members of spouses and dependents and family members of Domestic Partners.

  • Equal Benefits This provision applies to all contracts valued at $50,000 or above, including amendments. The Consultant shall comply with SMC Ch. 20.45 and Equal Benefit Program Rules, which require the Consultant to provide the same or equivalent benefits (“equal benefits”) to domestic partners of employees as the Consultant provides to spouses of employees. At the City’s request, the Consultant shall provide information and verification of the Consultant’s compliance. Any violation of this Section is material breach, for which the City may exercise enforcement actions or remedies defined in SMC Chapter 20.45.

  • Compliance with Equal Benefits Ordinance With respect to the provision of employee benefits, Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance which prohibits contractors from discriminating in the provision of employee benefits between an employee with a domestic partner and an employee with a spouse.

  • Equal Benefits Ordinance Unless an exception applies, Design Professional shall comply with the Equal Benefits Ordinance (EBO) codified in the San Diego Municipal Code (§22.4304(f)). Failure to maintain equal benefits is a material breach of this Agreement. By signing this Agreement, Design Professional certifies that Design Professional is aware of, and will comply with, this City-mandated clause throughout the duration of the Agreement.

  • ’ Compensation Insurance and Disability Benefits Requirements Sections 57 and 220 of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Law require the heads of all municipal and state entities to ensure that businesses applying for contracts have appropriate workers’ compensation and disability benefits insurance coverage. These requirements apply to both original contracts and renewals. Failure to provide proper proof of such coverage or a legal exemption will result in a rejection of any contract renewal. Proof of workers’ compensation and disability benefits coverage, or proof of exemption must be submitted to OGS at the time of policy renewal, contract renewal and upon request. Proof of compliance must be submitted on one of the following forms designated by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. An XXXXX form is not acceptable proof of New York State workers’ compensation or disability benefits insurance coverage. Proof of Compliance with Workers’ Compensation Coverage Requirements:

  • Medicaid Notification of Termination Requirements Party shall follow the Department of Vermont Health Access Managed-Care-Organization enrollee-notification requirements, to include the requirement that Party provide timely notice of any termination of its practice.

  • Benefits Upon Layoff ‌ Regular employees who have completed three months of service and are receiving an allowance pursuant to Clause 21.4, 21.5 and/or 21.6 shall continue to receive that allowance upon layoff, until the allowance has been exhausted, provided the notice of layoff is given after the commencement of the leave.
