Estimating the electricity usage Sample Clauses

Estimating the electricity usage. (a) If your meter is unable to be read, or your metering data is not obtained, for any reason (for example, if access to the meter cannot be gained, or the meter breaks down or is faulty), the amount of electricity which was purchased from us at your premises may be estimated. The bill will clearly state that the bill is based on an estimated reading. (b) When your meter is subsequently read, the bill will be adjusted for the difference between the estimate and the actual amount of electricity used, based on the reading of the meter. When you have received an estimated bill due to the absence of metering data and such absence was not caused by your act or omission, and a subsequent meter reading shows that you have been undercharged, we will offer you the option of paying for the amount undercharged by agreed instalments (to avoid doubt, such arrangement is not an instalment plan), over a period being no longer than: (i) the period during which an actual meter reading was not obtained, where this period is less than 12 months; or (ii) in any other case, 12 months. (c) If the meter is unable to be read due to your actions, and you subsequently request that we replace the estimated bill with a bill based on a reading of the meter, we will comply with your request but may pass through to you any cost we incur in doing so. (d) If there is no meter in respect of your premises we will base your bill on the provisions relating to unmetered premises in the notified prices. Where the notified prices do not apply, we will determine your bill in accordance with the Metrology Procedure or Chapter 9 of the Electricity Industry Code (as appropriate).

Estimating the electricity usage. (a) If your meter is unable to be read, or your metering data is not obtained, or is considered to be incorrect for any reason (for example, if access to the meter cannot be gained, or the meter breaks down or is faulty), the amount of electricity which was purchased from us at your premises may be estimated. The bill will clearly state the bill is based on an estimated reading. (b) When your meter is subsequently read, the next bill will be adjusted for the difference between the estimate and the actual amount of electricity used, based on the reading of the meter. W hen you have received an estimated bill due to the absence of metering data and a subsequent meter reading shows that you have been undercharged, we will include the amount undercharged as soon as practicable in a subsequent bill and you must pay the undercharged amount. (c) If the meter is unable to be read due to your actions, and you subsequently request that we replace the estimated bill with a bill based on a reading of the meter , we will endeavour to comply with your request but may pass through to you any cost we incur in doing so.
Estimating the electricity usage. (a) We may estimate the amount of electricity consumed at your premises if your Meter cannot be read, if your metering data is not obtained (for example, if access to the Meter is not given or the Meter breaks down or is faulty), or if you otherwise consent. (b) If we estimate the amount of electricity consumed at your premises to calculate a xxxx, we must: (i) clearly state on the xxxx that it is based on an estimation; and (ii) when your Meter is later read, adjust your xxxx for the difference between the estimate and the electricity actually used. (c) If we have provided you with an estimated xxxx and we later obtain a Meter reading or more reliable data which shows that you have been undercharged, we will allow you to pay the undercharged amount in instalments, over the same period of time during which the Meter was not read (if less than 12 months), or otherwise over 12 months. (d) If the Meter has not been read due to your actions, and you request us to replace the estimated xxxx with a xxxx based on an actual reading of the Meter, we will comply with your request but may charge you any cost we incur in doing so.
Estimating the electricity usage. 9.3.1 We may estimate the amount of electricity consumed at your premises if your meter cannot be read, if your metering data is not obtained (for example, if access to the meter is not given or the meter breaks down or is faulty), or if you otherwise consent. 9.3.2 If we estimate the amount of electricity consumed at your premises to calculate a bill, we must: a. clearly state on the bill that it is based on an estimation; and b. when your meter is later read, adjust your bill for the difference between the estimate and the electricity actually used. 9.3.3 If the later meter read shows that you have been undercharged, we will allow you to pay the undercharged amount in instalments, over the same period of time during which the meter was not read (if less than 12 months), or otherwise over a 12 month period. 9.3.4 If the meter has not been read due to your actions or inactions, and you request us to replace the estimated bill with a bill based on an actual reading of the meter, we will comply with your request but may charge you any cost we incur in doing so.
Estimating the electricity usage. 13.3.1 We may estimate the amount of electricity used at your premises if your meter cannot be read, if your metering data is not obtained (for example, if access to the meter is not given or the meter breaks down or is faulty), or if you otherwise consent. 13.3.2 Permitted estimations may be based on: 13.3.2.1 Your historical metering data if that is reasonably available to us; or 13.3.2.2 The average usage of electricity by a comparable customer over the corresponding period, if there is no historical metering data for you; or 13.3.2.3 Your estimated read data as provided by the Meter Data Provider. 13.3.3 If we estimate the amount of electricity used at your premises to calculate a bill, we must: 13.3.3.1 Clearly state on the bill that it is based on an estimation; and 13.3.3.2 When your meter is later read, adjust your bill for the difference between the estimate and the electricity actually used. 13.3.4 If the later meter read shows that you have been undercharged, we will allow you to pay the undercharged amount in instalments, over the same period of time during which the meter was not read (if less than 12 months), or otherwise 12 months. Payment plans must be agreed to by both parties. 13.3.5 If the meter has not been read due to your actions, and you request us to replace the estimated bill with a bill based on an actual reading of the meter, we will comply with your request but may charge you any cost we incur in doing so including special read fees.
Estimating the electricity usage. 19.1 If your meter is unable to be read for any reason (for example, access to the meter cannot be gained, or the meter breaks down or is faulty), we can estimate how much electricity was supplied to your supply address by using other information (such as your previous bills or your electricity usage history). 19.2 If your meter is subsequently able to be read, the bill will be adjusted for the difference between our estimate and the actual amount of electricity used, based on the reading of the meter. 19.3 If your meter was unable to be read due to your actions, we may impose the charge in the price list for arranging for your meter to be read at a subsequent time.

  • DNS service availability Refers to the ability of the group of listed-‐as-‐authoritative name servers of a particular domain name (e.g., a TLD), to answer DNS queries from DNS probes. For the service to be considered available at a particular moment, at least, two of the delegated name servers registered in the DNS must have successful results from “DNS tests” to each of their public-‐DNS registered “IP addresses” to which the name server resolves. If 51% or more of the DNS testing probes see the service as unavailable during a given time, the DNS service will be considered unavailable.
