Excess Overtime. The compensation due to law enforcement employees and fire protection employees who perform authorized work in excess of the maximums established by 8.1. is as follows: a. Exempt law enforcement and exempt fire protection employees shall be entitled to the regular rate of compensation for each hour of overtime worked. b. Non-exempt law enforcement and non-exempt fire protection employees shall be entitled to time and one-half of compensation for each hour of overtime worked.
