Excused from Duty. If an employee reports for and starts to work as scheduled and is excused from duty before completing three (3) hours work, the employee shall be paid for three (3) hours work at the appropriate rate, straight time or overtime, whichever is applicable.
Excused from Duty. The City encourages every employee to accept the duties as a juror. However, where an employee’s duties require the City to request the employee be excused from jury duty, the employee will cooperate in seeking to be excused.
