Exercise of Police Power. This Agreement and all activities hereunder are undertaken solely as an exercise of the police power of the Parties, exercised for the health, safety, and welfare of the public generally, and not for the benefit of any particular person or persons and the Parties shall not have nor be deemed to have any duty to any particular person or persons.
Exercise of Police Power. This Agreement must not be construed to require Xxxxx to exercise its police power. Nothing herein acts as a waiver of Xxxxx’x authority to require a permit, license, certificate, rezoning, exception, variance, or other approval under Xxxxx’x Town Charter, Code of Ordinances, and Land Development Code.
Exercise of Police Power. Nothing in this Agreement prevents the City Council from making such further amendments to the Seattle Municipal Code or Land Use Code as it may deem necessary in the public interest.

The Parties acknowledge that City has exercised its police power in the interest of the Parties, the citizens of City and the general public, by enacting this Agreement as its legislative act, and that full implementation of this Agreement will confer substantial benefits to the citizens of City and the general public.
Exercise of Police Power. Any member of the SOT who is a licensed peace officer and who is providing assistance pursuant to this aAgreement has the full and complete authority of a peace officer as though appointed by the requesting pParty and licensed by the State of Minnesota provided the officer meets the requirements set forth at Minn. Stat. § 471.59, subds. 12(1) and (2).
Exercise of Police Power. A peace officer who has been assigned by their XXXX to participate in a Traffic Safety Project located outside of the officer’s jurisdiction has the full and complete authority of a peace officer as though appointed by the agency or agencies within whose jurisdiction the Traffic Safety Project is located.
Exercise of Police Power. All rights and privileges granted hereby are subject to the police power of Grantor to adopt and enforce local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations necessary to the health, safety and general welfare of the public. This Franchise Agreement is subject to, and incorporates by reference, the Grantor's Cable Television Ordinance, as the same has been amended, and Company agrees that it is bound by and will comply with the said Cable Television Ordinance. Grantor agrees that any change in the provisions of the Cable Television Ordinance subsequent to the Effective Date of the Franchise Agreement will not alter materially the Company’s rights or obligations pursuant to this Franchise Agreement. Expressly reserved to Grantor is the right to adopt, in addition to the provisions of this Franchise Agreement and existing laws, ordinances and regulations (collectively “laws”), such additional laws as it may find necessary in the exercise of its police power. Any conflict between the terms of this Franchise Agreement and any present or future exercise of the Grantor’s police and regulatory powers shall be resolved in favor of the latter, provided that Grantor’s police and regulatory powers shall not be used to unilaterally modify materially the Franchise Agreement.
Exercise of Police Power. All rights and privileges granted hereby are subject to the police power of the City to adopt and enforce local laws, rules and regulations necessary to protect the health, safety and general welfare of the public consistent with any other requirements under the laws of the State of Maryland. Expressly reserved to the City is the right to adopt, now and in the future, in addition to the provisions of the Franchise and existing laws, ordinances and regulations, such additional laws and regulations as it may find necessary in the exercise of its police power and Company shall comply with all laws, ordinances and regulations, now existing and hereafter adopted whether local, State or Federal.
Exercise of Police Power. By executing this Franchise Agreement, Company acknowledges that its rights are subject to the powers of the Grantor to adopt and enforce general ordinances and regulations necessary to the safety and welfare of the public. Company shall comply with all applicable ordinances and regulations enacted by the Grantor pursuant to such power. Any conflict between the terms of this Franchise Agreement and any present or future lawful exercise of the Town’s police powers shall be resolved in favor of the latter.
Exercise of Police Power. To the full extent permitted by applicable law either now or in the future, the city reserves the right to adopt or issue such rules, regulations, orders, or other directives that it finds necessary or appropriate in the lawful exercise of its police powers.
