Extended Guarantees. If any guarantee exceeding one (1) year is provided by the supplier or manufacturer of any equipment used in this Project, then the Contractor's guarantee for such materials shall be extended for such term. Contractor expressly agrees to act as co-guarantor of such equipment and materials and shall supply County with all warranty and guarantee documents relative to equipment and materials incorporated in the job and guaranteed by its suppliers or manufacturers.

Work not conforming to these requirements, including substitutions not properly approved and authorized, shall be considered defective.
