Extended Warranty - Longitudinal Joints. Asphalt concrete mix shall be placed and compacted in accordance with the Department's Standard Specification, Division 4 Section 19 – End Product Specification (EPS). The provisions of Division 1, Section 4, Subsection 49.0 of the Department's Standard Specification shall be in effect for this Contract with the following exception. Longitudinal joints in the surface course of asphalt concrete paving shall be subject to the aforementioned Subsection 12.0 for a period of thirty six (36) months after satisfactory completion of the paving operation. Defects and omissions as referenced in Division 1, Section 4, Subsection 49.0 of the Department's Standard Specification shall include construction related defects, at or adjacent to the longitudinal joint, such as ravelling, segregation, de-bonding, pot holing or cracking. In the event that defect(s) are observed at or near the longitudinal joint, within 36 months, the Engineer will determine whether the defects are construction related. The Contractor shall repair at their own expense, all construction related defects as identified by the Engineer. Cracks up to 20mm wide shall be filled and sealed (no routing is required) in accordance with Division 4, Section 11 - Crack Filling and Crack Sealing (EPWS) of the Department's Standard Specification. Defects that cannot be repaired by crack filling and sealing shall be cold planed to a width of approximately 600mm and to the same depth of the surface course. Emulsified asphalt tack shall be applied to all joints and the underlying asphalt concrete. Asphalt concrete removed by cold planing shall be replaced with the equivalent type of asphalt concrete material according to the Department's Standard Specification, Division 4 Section 4 - Asphalt Concrete Hot Mixed - Hot Placed. The hot mix asphalt shall be compacted to 92.5% of the Maximum Theoretical Density (per ASTM D 3202) using both a rubber tired roller to obtain maximum compaction and a steel drum roller to obtain smoothness. Combination rollers are acceptable. The perimeter of the repaired area shall be sealed with a rubberized joint sealing material as specified in Division 4 Section 11.

  • Extended Warranty If the Quote includes an extended warranty, the extended warranty coverage period warranty will be for a five- (5-) year term, which includes the hardware manufacturer’s warranty plus the four- (4-) year extended term.

  • Warranty Period Except as may be otherwise specified or agreed, Contractor shall repair all defects in materials, equipment, or workmanship appearing within one year from the date of Substantial Completion of the Work. If Substantial Completion occurs by phase, then the warranty period for that the Work performed for each phase begins on the date of Substantial Completion of that phase, or as otherwise stipulated on the Certificate of Substantial Completion for the particular phase.

  • Warranty Periods All warranties begin to run from the date Material Completion is achieved.

  • Hardware Warranty Company warrants that for a period of one (1) year from delivery of Hardware, Hardware will be free from defects in material and workmanship in normal use, but does not cover any of the following: (i) improper installation, maintenance, adjustment, repair or modification by Customer or a third party; (ii) misuse, neglect, or any other cause other than ordinary use, including without limitation, accidents or acts of God; (iii) improper environment, excessive or inadequate heating or air conditioning, electrical power failures, surges, water damage or other irregularities; (iv) third party software or software drivers; or (v) damage during shipment.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where Freedom has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to Freedom. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for Freedom (e.g. hairpinning): 1. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to any spare copper that exists to the customer premises. 2. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to an existing DLC that is not integrated. 3. If capacity exists, provide "side-door" porting through the switch. 4. If capacity exists, provide "Digital Access Cross Connect System (DACS)- door" porting (if the IDLC routes through a DACS prior to integration into the switch). 2.6.2 Arrangements 3 and 4 above require the use of a designed circuit. Therefore, non- designed Loops such as the SL1 voice grade and UCL-ND may not be ordered in these cases. 2.6.3 If no alternate facility is available, and upon request from Freedom, and if agreed to by both Parties, BellSouth may utilize its Special Construction (SC) process to determine the additional costs required to provision facilities. Freedom will then have the option of paying the one-time SC rates to place the Loop.

  • Warranty Work Failure by the Contractor to take corrective action within twenty four (24) hours after personal or telephonic notice by the County's OC Public Works on items affecting essential use of the facility, safety or the preservation of property, and within ten (10) calendar days following written notice on other deficiencies, will result in the County taking whatever corrective action it deems necessary. All costs resulting from such action by the County will be claimed against Contractor or, if necessary, the Contractor's Performance Bond.

  • TRUNK FORECASTING 57.1. CLEC shall provide forecasts for traffic utilization over trunk groups. Orders for trunks that exceed forecasted quantities for forecasted locations will be accommodated as facilities and/or equipment are available. Sprint shall make all reasonable efforts and cooperate in good faith to develop alternative solutions to accommodate orders when facilities are not available. Company forecast information must be provided by CLEC to Sprint twice a year. The initial trunk forecast meeting should take place soon after the first implementation meeting. A forecast should be provided at or prior to the first implementation meeting. The semi-annual forecasts shall project trunk gain/loss on a monthly basis for the forecast period, and shall include: 57.1.1. Semi-annual forecasted trunk quantities (which include baseline data that reflect actual Tandem and end office Local Interconnection and meet point trunks and Tandem-subtending Local Interconnection end office equivalent trunk requirements) for no more than two years (current plus one year); 57.1.2. The use of Common Language Location Identifier (CLLI-MSG), which are described in Telcordia documents BR 000-000-000 and BR 000-000-000; 57.1.3. Description of major network projects that affect the other Party will be provided in the semi-annual forecasts. Major network projects include but are not limited to trunking or network rearrangements, shifts in anticipated traffic patterns, or other activities by CLEC that are reflected by a significant increase or decrease in trunking demand for the following forecasting period. 57.1.4. Parties shall meet to review and reconcile the forecasts if forecasts vary significantly.

  • Minimum Customer Support Requirements for TIPS Sales Vendor shall provide timely and commercially reasonable support for TIPS Sales or as agreed to in the applicable Supplemental Agreement.

  • Local Circuit Switching Capability, including Tandem Switching Capability 4.2.1 Local circuit switching capability is defined as: (A) line-side facilities, which include, but are not limited to, the connection between a loop termination at a main distribution frame and a switch line card; (B) trunk-side facilities, which include, but are not limited to, the connection between trunk termination at a trunk-side cross-connect panel and a switch trunk card; (C) switching provided by remote switching modules; and (D) all features, functions, and capabilities of the switch, which include, but are not limited to: (1) the basic switching function of connecting lines to lines, line to trunks, trunks to lines, and trunks to trunks, as well as the same basic capabilities made available to BellSouth’s customers, such as a telephone number, white page listings, and dial tone; and (2) all other features that the switch is capable of providing, including but not limited to customer calling, customer local area signaling service features, and Centrex, as well as any technically feasible customized routing functions provided by the switch. Any features that are not currently available but are technically feasible through the switch can be requested through the BFR/NBR process. 4.2.2 Notwithstanding BellSouth’s general duty to unbundle local circuit switching, BellSouth shall not be required to unbundle local circuit switching for Louisville Telephone when Louisville Telephone serves an end-user with four (4) or more voice-grade (DS-0) equivalents or lines served by BellSouth in one of the following MSAs: Atlanta, GA; Miami, FL; Orlando, FL; Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC; Greensboro-Winston Salem-High Point, NC; Nashville, TN; and New Orleans, LA, and BellSouth has provided non- discriminatory cost based access to the Enhanced Extended Link (EEL) throughout Density Zone 1 as determined by NECA Tariff No. 4 as in effect on January 1, 1999. 4.2.3 In the event that Louisville Telephone orders local circuit switching for an end user with four (4) or more DS0 equivalent lines within Density Zone 1 in an MSA listed above, BellSouth shall charge Louisville Telephone the market based rates in Exhibit B for use of the local circuit switching functionality for the affected facilities.
