Common use of Extension of Leaves Clause in Contracts

Extension of Leaves. Extension of any such leaves will not be granted unless the Superintendent of Schools or designee so directs. No leave shall be extended beyond two (2) years, except for Military leaves (8.1.8), Organizational (8.8) and Public Service Leaves (8.9), and long-term disability (7.5). Teachers released to teach in dependent schools may be granted a leave of absence for two
