Rest Break 6.4.10(a) An employee working overtime must be allowed a rest break of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked if the employee is to continue work after the rest break.
Rest Breaks Employees shall receive a fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours worked. It is the Employer's intention to provide uninterrupted rest breaks.
H3 Break H3.1 The Authority shall have the right to terminate the Contract at any time by giving three (3) Months’ written notice to the Contractor. The Authority may extend the period of notice at any time before it expires, subject to agreement on the level of Services to be provided by the Contractor during the period of extension.
Outage Restoration If an outage on the Attachment Facilities or System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades of the Connecting Transmission Owner or Developer adversely affects the other Party’s operations or facilities, the Party that owns the facility that is out of service shall use Reasonable Efforts to promptly restore such facility(ies) to a normal operating condition consistent with the nature of the outage. The Party that owns the facility that is out of service shall provide the other Party and NYISO, to the extent such information is known, information on the nature of the Emergency State, an estimated time of restoration, and any corrective actions required. Initial verbal notice shall be followed up as soon as practicable with written notice explaining the nature of the outage.
Tea Breaks (a) Every employee will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each four hours worked at a time to be agreed between the employee and employer.
Lunch and Rest Breaks (a) Normally, a non-paid lunch break of either one half (½) hour or one (1) hours duration will be taken halfway through each shift. However, if job conditions require, the lunch break may be moved up to one (1) hour in either direction.
Noise Abatement Contractor shall operate, conduct, or construct without violating the City’s Noise Abatement Ordinance codified in the SDMC.
Denial/Restoral OSS Charge In the event <<customer_name>> provides a list of customers to be denied and restored, rather than an LSR, each location on the list will require a separate PON and, therefore will be billed as one LSR per location. Cancellation OSS Charge <<customer_name>> will incur an OSS charge for an accepted LSR that is later canceled by <<customer_name>>. Note: Supplements or clarifications to a previously billed LSR will not incur another OSS charge. Threshold Billing Plan <<customer_name>> will incur the mechanized rate for all LSRs, both mechanized and manual, if the percentage of mechanized LSRs to total LSRs meets or exceeds the threshold percentages shown below: Year Ratio: Mechanized/Total LSRs 2000 80% 2001 90% The threshold plan will be discontinued in 2002. BellSouth will track the total LSR volume for each CLEC for each quarter. At the end of that time period, a Percent Electronic LSR calculation will be made for that quarter based on the LSR data tracked in the LCSC. If this percentage exceeds the threshold volume, all of that CLEC’s future manual LSRs for the following quarter will be billed at the mechanized LSR rate. To allow time for obtaining and analyzing the data and updating the billing system, this billing change will take place on the first day of the second month following the end of the quarter (e.g. May 1 for 1Q, Aug 1 for 2Q, etc.). There will be no adjustments to the amount billed for previously billed LSRs. Work Breaks All employees covered by this agreement shall be permitted ten (10) minutes in the first half and ten (10) minutes in the second half of a shift for a coffee break on the job during regular working hours. If extended overtime is required, additional coffee breaks shall be permitted during such overtime after each two (2) hours following the conclusion of each overtime meal break. However, for a compressed work week schedule, employees shall be permitted a break of fifteen (15) minutes in the first half and fifteen (15) minutes in the second half of such shifts.
Tie Breaker In the event a reduction in number of teachers creates a situation requiring that a choice be made among teachers who have equal seniority, the selection of the teacher(s) for purposes of reduction shall be at the discretion of the School District based on criteria including performance, training, experience, skills in special assignments, special or advanced certifications obtained in the teacher’s field and subject matter employed, and other relevant factors.
