Filling of Ferry Service Crew Vacancies. When there is a full-time vacancy in the classification of Ferry Captain, Xxxxx Engineer, Xxxxx Xxxx Xxxxxx or Ferry Ordinary Xxxxxx, the Ferry Service will first offer that crew/run/vessel assignment to full-time employees already in that classification in order of seniority. If no full-time employee in that classification elects to transfer to the assignment, the vacancy will be posted in accordance with the provisions of this Article, and Ferry Service crew employees in the same classification who choose to apply at that time must participate in the full selection process.
