First Source Employment Act. The Design-Builder shall comply with subchapter X of Chapter II of Title 2 of the D.C. Code, and all successor acts thereto, including but not limited to the Workforce Intermediary Establishment and Reform of First Source Amendment Act of 2011, and all successor acts thereto and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder. The Design-Builder and all member firms and Subcontractors shall execute a First Source Agreement with the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services (“DOES”) prior to beginning Work at the Project site.

  • GENERAL EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES 13.1 As the Board is a fair and equal opportunity employer, marital status, race, creed, religion, sex, age, national origin or number of years teaching experience shall not be made a condition of employment. Chapter 5, Subchapter 6, relating to fair employment practices, to the full extent applicable. Party shall also ensure, to the full extent required by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, that qualified individuals with disabilities receive equitable access to the services, programs, and activities provided by the Party under this Agreement. Party further agrees to include this provision in all subcontracts.

  • EMPLOYEE HEALTH CARE 233. Pursuant to the Charter, the City contributes whatever rate is applicable per month directly into the City Health Service System for each employee who is a member of the Health Service System. Subsequent City contributions will be set pursuant to the Charter.

  • Student Employment (a) Students who are employed to backfill in a bargaining unit position shall be paid the bargaining unit rate and if so employed for more than ten (10) weeks will be a member of the bargaining unit.

  • EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES In accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act (the “Act”), the Employer will grant the following leaves:
