For Birth or Adoption of a Child. All bargaining unit members are eligible for family leave upon the birth or adoption of a child after one year of service. This leave, in accordance with FMLA and New Jersey State Law, can be up to twelve (12) weeks. An HSO must charge unused vacation leave and accumulated sick time during the leave. Appropriate documentation must be provided to the Program Director. Upon submission of appropriate medical documentation, such leave shall be approved.

For Birth or Adoption of a Child. All bargaining unit members are eligible for family leave (unpaid) upon the birth or adoption of a child after one year of service. This leave, in accordance with the Family Medical Leave Act and New Jersey State law, can be up to 12 weeks every 12 months. A Housestaff Officer can use paid vacation leave to cover a portion of this 12-week period. Appropriate documentation must be provided to Human Resources. Upon submission of appropriate medical documentation, such leave shall be approved.

  • Notification of Absence A unit member shall contact the office of the division xxxx whenever there is a need to be absent and at least thirty (30) minutes prior to missing any work assignment.   • Consolidation of Grievances In order to avoid the necessity of processing numerous similar grievances at one time, similar grievances shall be consolidated whenever possible.

  • Relationship to Plan This Award is subject to all of the terms, conditions and provisions of the Plan and administrative interpretations thereunder, if any, which have been adopted by the Committee thereunder and are in effect on the date hereof. Except as defined or otherwise specifically provided herein, capitalized terms shall have the same meanings ascribed to them under the Plan.

  • Relationship to Award 2.1 This Agreement incorporates those terms of the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Industry Award 1998 as at December 2005 (as amended) that are set out in Appendix K. A reference in this Agreement to the “Award” means the Award terms as set out in Appendix K. 2.2 If an inconsistency exists between the Common Clauses and Appendix K, the Common Clauses will take precedence. 2.3 If an inconsistency exists between Appendix K and any other Appendix of this Agreement, that other Appendix will take precedence.

  • No Contemplation of a Business Combination The Company has not identified any Business Combination target (each a “Target Business”) and it has not, nor has anyone on its behalf, initiated any substantive discussions, directly or indirectly, with any Business Combination target.

  • Continuation of or Change in Business Each of the Loan Parties shall not, and shall not permit any of its Unregulated Subsidiaries to, engage in any business other than a Permitted Business.

  • No Effect on Employment or Service Nothing in the Plan shall interfere with or limit in any way the right of the Company to terminate any Participant’s employment or service at any time, with or without cause. For purposes of the Plan, transfer of employment of a Participant between the Company and any one of its Affiliates (or between Affiliates) shall not be deemed a Termination of Service. Employment with the Company and its Affiliates is on an at-will basis only.
