Leave Upon the Birth or Adoption of a Child. 24.3.1 An academic staff member holding a tenure-track, tenured, or term appointment shall be granted maternity, adoption, or parental leave for a combined period of up to seventy-eight (78) weeks by the Xxxx after having been employed by the University for more than thirteen (13) consecutive weeks.

Supplementary Employment Benefits for academic staff members with tenure-track, tenured, or term appointments The academic staff member shall be entitled to receive one hundred (100) per cent of salary to offset the one-week waiting period for eligibility of receipt of employment insurance benefits.
